All I have to say is, USAA insurance rocks.

One phone call and I had an $850 check in the mail. I thought for sure they'd blow me off since the winch was a bolt-on accessory, but I gave the girl the MSRP for the M12000 off the 4WP website and she cut me a check for that price minus my deductible!!! :chili: :chili: :chili:

Couldn't believe it!

So, tookl the $850 to 4WP and ended up with one of these:

Now I gotz more pull, new winch, and thermometric circuitry! And I ain't mounting it until my garage is done and the Bronco is off the street!!!! So don't bother coming by if you stole my M12000...

Hey Jon, last I heard USAA is for military and ex-mil members only. I got out 6 yrs ago so I don't know if things have changed... anybody else know?

I have had USAA my entire life...my dad was Air Force and I have carried them over for myself.....Credit card, car loan, car insurance, and home owners insurance....they take care of theirs....

I think the deal is you have to be military or a dependant of military. As a dependant of military, you can keep USAA forever and your kids get to keep USAA as well and their kids, etc. However, if you had USAA as a dependent or former dependent and leave them, I dont think you can go back- Im not sure.

Yep, USAA does it again. I had my stereo stolen TWICE from my F150, and the second time they even got the alarm too!! :banghead

USAA took care of it, no questions asked. :rockon

I never heard of USAA while in the military. What if you are x-military?

Oh and sweet winch. I didn't know there was such a thang as 16.5 winch! That things got to heavy!

You should be able to pick up USAA if you are ex-military no problem. I am going to switch my car insurance over to USAA soon. I would put my bike insurance to USAA but Progressive KILLS USAA but over $100/year

Same weight as the M12000, which is what I designed my bumper/front suspension around... :chili:
