Bronco85 05-18-2004, 08:54 PM Do you go anywhere other then that place chris?
Chris85xlt 05-18-2004, 11:17 PM Do you go anywhere other then that place chris?
yeah i do go to other places but Azusa is only 25minutes from me and theres plenty to do up there. Big Bear is nice but its the same thing over and over unless there was snow or rained alot and its also a 2 hour drive away. Azusa the terrian actually changes every week. Hungry Valley....u've been there. Calico is something new that i would like to try but not this weekend :D. The damns at Azusa is dumping water like mad so its going to be cool
bAdKARma88 05-19-2004, 01:18 AM Can't go, have work.
Bronco85 05-19-2004, 12:13 PM Ok if it was that close to me I'd probably be there alot as well.
29 begins my fun. 3 days of nothing but wheel. 5 trucks, nothing but forrest, mud and rivers:)

I 'd love to go!! but :histerica
My trans is about to fall out...
Its getting worse. & I got no money to fix it.. :cry
But maybe I'll go anyway.
If any of you that plan on going think you could pull me out with a tow strap to the parking lot if the trans breaks.
So I could get triple "A" to tow me home... :banghead
HHMMMMM......
I just thought of something my truck is stock with no tow hooks or points to attach a strap too.
Where would be a good spot to hook a strap & tow me all the way to the parking lot with out causing damage?? :shrug
Bronco85 05-19-2004, 06:21 PM No tow points..
Stay home.!
Bronkzilla 05-19-2004, 09:48 PM do you have a hitch?

Chris85xlt 05-20-2004, 04:52 PM Change of plan. my Cousin from New York came to visit and she wants me to meet her new boy friend :duh .

J-Roc 05-22-2004, 11:27 PM Damn, Azusa sounds very good right now...but, alas, we don't have a tow strap big enough for the X yet :cry
offroad_joe 05-23-2004, 11:51 AM I have a 30 foot 6" strap and a 12000# winch. Is that big enough? :goodfinge
Spectre 05-23-2004, 02:54 PM I have a 30,000lb tow strap. :)

BlancoBronco 05-24-2004, 02:24 AM I took the chance & my trans didnt break It sure did start making a lot of new noise's & vibrations..
But I did get back home
I think i saw chris85xlt but couldnt get his attention before he went out deep where I could'nt go with bald street tires & no tow hooks
(what does xlt stand for anyway?? is there a full size that isnt a xlt?)
(I know It cant be extra large truck....)
Other wise i recognized no broncs from the site.
I did speak to about4 other bronco owners , No from F.S.B. tho
3 of them were pretty cool.
The guy with the big white monster with 44's that lost his rear u-joint.&
his bro had a blk bronc the same size. Real cool guys...

Hey chris
Do you have a round sticker on each side of your rigs shell windows?
If you do then I saw you show up & go out in the mud where I would'nt dare, with my bald tires & lack of tow hooks on a stock bronc.
You know I alreay posted a thread about this but its now gone...hhmmmmmm.......
Any ways I got there at about 12 pm sun. didnt see many broncos @ 1st but they all started in later . lots of em. its was really cool to see.
but I didnt run into any F.S.B. people I spoke with about 4 dif. bronco owners & none of them heard of F.S.B.
maybe we'll get some new people here.
How about the 2 brothers with the really big 44 inch tired broncos One white, one black with brown trim?
the white one broke his rear u-joint trying to pull out a really deeply stuck chevy.
he had a great attitude about it.
He just joked about it :histerica
both him & his bro had some 3/4 ton axles or something
( i dont remember) ( i do remember seeing like 8 lug nut wheels or 6 I dont know)
They did all there work custom at home & didnt know how tall a lift they had .
But they did look cool!!
BIG & MEAN LOOKING!! :clap
So I'm just wondering who else was there??
I tried to talk to who ever was stopped or would slow down in there bronco.
But I found none of you??
(kinda reminds me of Bobs big boy. I cant seem to find you people anywhere :shrug )
Oh well. I had a great time showing my jeep friend some of what my stock bronco could do under its delicate condition. He was impressed :rockon
BlancoBronco 05-25-2004, 10:17 PM I have tryed posting 2 times .
Once today & once yesterday & its not showing up. on the screen?
BlancoBronco 05-25-2004, 10:22 PM oh i didnt know u went. sorry i didnt stop. how did your bronco look like?
But I thinK you had mud in your eye.
I tried to get you attention but you didnt stop.
Bronkzilla 05-25-2004, 10:22 PM the bronco with the big round stickers on the glass belongs to chris..
BlancoBronco 05-25-2004, 10:23 PM What about the 4th owner? :toothless
with the attitude who are you to be speeking to me :twak
BlancoBronco 05-25-2004, 10:33 PM oh i didnt know u went. sorry i didnt stop. how did your bronco look like?
What my bronco looks like.
when I saw you I facing the big mud pit!
You drove by behind me. from there you would of seen the big chrome rear bumber I always bitch about.
Its really kinda big compared to tube bumpers such as I want to get.
my bronco is white with tinted windows The shell is a darker white than the body the shell is more eggshell in color. its just a stock bronco except for the mufflerless side exit exhaust. & the bumper.
I was the smallest bronco. there :cry
I am usally the biggest car in the parking lots at home. real easy to see but I kept having to look for my bronco in the crowd of lifted trucks.
BlancoBronco 05-25-2004, 10:39 PM Whos was that?
the was one toppless bronco that I kept seeing flying back & forth putting on a good show for all.
Is he a member?
I'm talking about the guy that had some plastic sheet to protect the drivers compartment.
he seemed pretty bad ass too! :rockon
Bronkzilla 05-25-2004, 10:39 PM chris only turns his head if someone is flashing him.. next time show some boobie..
BlancoBronco 05-25-2004, 10:50 PM chris only turns his head if someone is flashing him.. next time show some boobie..
Boobie hu?
does he like hairy boobies? :shocked :wacko
It would of been nice to see the zilla there.
Bronkzilla 05-25-2004, 10:54 PM id rather drive in someone elses truck in the mud.. its fun but i hate cleaning up..
offroad_joe 05-26-2004, 11:06 PM Didja go Joe?
No I was just giving ya Sh!t. I still haven't put the D60 in and the 44 has two broken axles. I was thinking about heading up there in 2 wheel drive but figured I would just get bummed because I couldn't have fun.
. id rather drive in someone elses truck in the mud.. its fun but i hate cleaning up..
Come on Raf we had such fun up in Hollister. With your new big meats and me only being 2 wheel drive you will need to pull me out this time. :goodfinge
Bronkzilla 05-27-2004, 01:21 AM Come on Raf we had such fun up in Hollister. With your new big meats and me only being 2 wheel drive you will need to pull me out this time. :goodfinge
that cut me joe.. that cut me deep... :cry
:histerica i didnt say it wasnt fun.. its lots of fun.. the clean up sucks.. the hollister mud is probably way different though.. it had lots of rocks in it.. Ill give it a shot one of these days.. maybe chris will end up pulling us out all day..
offroad_joe 05-29-2004, 12:53 PM That Hollister mud is possessed by the devil. I still get chunks of it falling out and it's been 1 1/2 years. The mud at Azusa is sand based it cleans up pretty easy. I say we should all try to get out there this Monday? :thumbup
J-Roc 05-29-2004, 03:49 PM Shoooot, if you guys go- I will be really tempted to take the X out there before we take her in my friends body shop for some repairs. Ya think the D50 will hold up to 37" tires and a crapload of torque from the modded 7.3L???
