OC aint got chit! got to leave the urban jungle buddy....head out to BFE for the good stuff.

What are you looking for? moderate trails don't tell me enough...

Rocks, mud, sand, packed dirt???

The 91 Fwy is fairly rough

Of course I don't mean IN Orange County I mean around it. Thought I posted that.... Anyways I'm on a primarily stock bronco, mud that aint too deep, rocks that aint too big, and trails that aren't too rough is what I mean by moderate!

hehe....I knew you didn't mean IN OC....just messing bud.

Being from OC myself, I think I have been to nearly every area within about 3 hours of here.

There is Gorman/Hungry valley/Los Padres NF....thats just north of magic mtn. Nothing too ungodly tough there. 'cept maybe the yellowjacket trail.

There is Big Bear/ San bernadino NF..... thats about 2 hours from N. OC. even the toughest stuff there isn't THAT tough. Ya John Bull is not the best for a first timer, but careful placement can get a stocker thru...

Los coyotes is toward Temecula, and is about 2+ hours away. Full size trails here...as well as full size killers too. Not sure if I would call it moderate as a rating but there are part that are.

Truckhaven/Salton sea is about the farthest out at nearly 3 hours...this is every classification. wild can be right next to mild out here. mostly sandy area, but add water and there is mud up the ....well you get the idea.

need more? talk to me later.

For a quick trip there's Azuza canyon, lots of mud some other minor stuff. It's straight up highway 39 to the off road area.
