Remember, the small shops need to make a living, too. I'd bet you won't find a price much better than $310/tire wherever you look. Spectre 05-20-2004, 03:17 PM 4 Wheel Parts? $320/tire isn't all that bad for 39.5 boggers.... Remember, the small shops need to make a living, too. I'd bet you won't find a price much better than $310/tire wherever you look. 320 is from 4 wheel parts.. The cheaper the price the better.. I'm buying the warranty and an allignment at the same time.. I just want to try and keep the damage down as much as possible.. I know 4wheel parts cost is 220 a tire.. So I want some leverage on bringing them down just a little.. Hell If I can get them down enough to just offset the cost of the allignment I'd be happy.. Canadian Bronco 05-20-2004, 03:40 PM i found i can get 38.5 x 15.5 by 15's for 300$ a tire here. so i think the bronco may get them but im scared to blow the sh!t out of the TTB peteyg 05-20-2004, 03:42 PM MY cost is $313.27/tire, and Transamerican Wholesale (the wholesale division of 4 Wheel Parts) is where I get my tires from. You won't be able to grind 'em down much more than that. If I sold you tires at $320/ea. I'd only make like $6/tire. That's not enough to stay in business for most small shops. 4 Wheel parts makes money through volume. Spectre 05-20-2004, 04:35 PM 38's are 220 at 4 wheel parts. :) I'm waiting for my check to get in the mail, and when it comes I'll go buy the tires and let you guys know how much it cost me for everything. peteyg 05-20-2004, 04:44 PM Look closer...thats 38 x 9 x 15 those're super narrow boggers... Spectre 05-20-2004, 06:20 PM ya.. true.. :) Spectre 05-20-2004, 07:40 PM Wooo! got my check! I'll be ordering new tires tomorrow. peteyg 05-20-2004, 07:48 PM Cool! Always fun to get new sh!t! Bronkzilla 05-20-2004, 09:29 PM id go for the 38x15.5 tsl radial. Spectre 05-21-2004, 05:08 AM 38? the woman said it's her bronco and she wants the same size tire.. Our friend has the 38 tsl's and she says they're to small and weak.. :) Spectre 05-25-2004, 01:24 PM Well the new tires are on.. I got them for $309 a tire.. Total after paying for all the tires, warranty and allignment we spent $1719 Man.. that was a big chunk of change.. Burl Swift 05-25-2004, 03:16 PM Is your Bronco SAS'd? It doesn't look like it from your avatar pic but its kinda hard to tell. Bluebeast 05-25-2004, 07:50 PM at the store Spectre 05-30-2004, 01:46 PM nope.. It's still IFS.. I may have an axle being brought down this weekend for a SAS swap.. Spectre 10-24-2007, 02:13 PM nope.. It's still IFS.. I may have an axle being brought down this weekend for a SAS swap.. It's been 3 years and still no SAS. :( and tires are now 409 a piece.. :( Oh.. had to dig up an old thread.. I was bored. :twak  |
