Does anyone out there know of any places to wheel in West Virginia? I'd like to take my rig out and do some light stuff (trail ride, etc.). Nothing too serious yet as my truck is still stock and my daily driver. Thanks.

Well I guess there is, but I'm not exactly sure where. I would really hate to be on someone's property and get chased off with a shotgun.
I'm also a newbie to wheeling and don't have anyone to go with. I'm reluctant to go by myself just in case something happens.

Nothing like being a little late with this but better late than never. If you are close to the Virginia line where Rt. 33 crosses, you should be able to find some trails to your liking. Or just cross into Va. and at the bottom of the mountain on the right are some good trails. Not too hard unless its been raining alot. Its called the Dry River District.

Thanks Bilzhorse. I honestly figured this thread was buried so deep no one would ever find it. :brownbag
Actually I'm closer to the Kentucky border than I am to the Virginia border. Is that area close to Bluefield? :shrug

what's your zip code again? (would be on the chapter map, if it were ever updated)
If you aren't close to VA, then I doubt that you're anywhere near MD either. I was going to suggest that you check out the Green Ridge ORV trail in western MD. Also, the Frederick Watershed has some good trails, if you're nearby.

My zip is 25526. Not real close to MD either. :banghead Thanks for the tip though. If I find myself up that way (and I'm in the Bronco) I'll try some trails.

woah.... yeah, you're definitely not anywhere near... anything.
You might want to check into some of the other chapters that are on the other side of those state lines. I really don't think we have any members near you.

I'm on a couple other forums (car related). They're the same way. I guess I'll have to lurk around in Mid-West or something. Thanks for your help though.
