Are you talking about calazo from venz. ? I believe he said it was an actual 2WD Bronco. :shrug

"calazo"
Hi guys I'm new here & need help!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone, I just signed in. I'm already at fordsix.com and FTE forums.

I've been considering an engine swap. Currently I have the 300 six, carbed and a C-6 tranny. I live at 8.000ft/above sea level. sometimes gotta drive uphill and thus fuel economy is rather poor (8MPG city in traffic, while properly tuned...) and performance so so.... In order to improve power & performance and mileage, the guys at FTE said, go 351W! Any thoughts?. I run the stock 29" tires, a rear end about 3.55 and 2WD stock (Venezuelan version).

It doesn't matter, but I saw some reference on that hilarious DJ Chevy F-150 for sale 9 page thread, and wondered if someone had converted a Bronco to 2WD and made it a street truck with a big block. Just curious...

I don't think Calazo was the one referred to, but I know that S. American Fords have some unique models like the Brazilian shortbox reg cab Super duty pickup!!!!

READ THE RULES!!!!!!!!!!!As long as its a FULLSIZE Bronco, its eligible....A Bronco with a big Block and a Transfer Case is considered a 4WD. Just cause its missing the front DS does not make it a 2WD.....

I thought we were all done with this Cr@p :shrug :shrug :shrug

They dont want you to know the truth. Broncobabe has the 2wd bronco with a 429 or something crappy like that. Her pops or something ran the exhaust where the front dshaft goes.....I dont see why it was ever out to start but that is what I think you are asking about. :shrug

A few drag broncos are on here... those are the real people you want to talk with. Broncobabe has others do the work so may not know all there is to know about it.

......I think I will get flack from this too. :shrug

What's wrong GoBucs... you so jelouse of the Babe that you gotta crack on a girl that doesn't do 100% of her own wrenchin'?
So sad that a guy can't handle being one upped by a girl in this day and age. http://smilies.jeeptalk.org/contrib/ruinkai/FIREdevil.gif
Maybe you should re-read your own sigline. :slap

4by... if you can't tell already, you hit on a sore subject.
The majority of FSB men are gentlemen and think that it's great that a gal has a Bronco that would leave many in the dust, even if she doesn't do ALL her own wrenchin'... then there are others (like that loser) that would take any opportunity to flip crap to a girl. Well... on behalf of FSB I'd like to apologize to you (since your a n00b) and say that I hope you don't let this little mess influence your opinion of FSB as a whole. What can we say... "there's one in every bunch" and we have a big bunch here.
Welcome to our home and best of luck on finding what you seek. :thumbup
If it's Bronco... it's here somewhere!

For everone: I tried to answer the question asked to the best of my ablilty to help out, I have never met her and have nothing really against her nor any other member on this site. (like that loser) I am sorry I am a loser in you eyes as it appears but he that is life. Both of the you and bb have suffered though things I would never like to face and have overcame them it appears.

Maybe you need to read my sig again and try to comprehend the meaning not just the black and white pixels on the screen. Good day, it was fun in the beginning....

Or here's Pat's drag Bronco:
http://www.supermotors.org/registry/vehicles/detail.php?id=3878

It's not 2WD stock, but it kicks ass.

Sorry that you hit some sore nerves on one of your first threads; there are a few people that feel very strongly on either side of the BroncoBabe FOTM issue, and those that are extremely defensive of her jump all over anybody who they feel may be putting her down. Yes, it's pretty stupid all the way around.

I've followed the debate about factory 2WD Bronco offerings on other forums, and the consensus is that no, there were no 2WD Broncos produced *in the US*; it's already been pointed out in this thread that there are some in other countries.

http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung0304/lachen/laughing-smiley-003.gif You're as bad as Wes about going back on what you said about me like you didn't mean it, or didn't intend to stir up anything.

They dont want you to know the truth. Broncobabe has the 2wd bronco with a 429 or something crappy like that.
Something crappy like that? That's good, too. I've got more power in one Bronco than you do in both of yours. Yeah, its a "crappy" high compression 429. Wanna hook 'em up with a tow rope and see how crappy it is? I mean, hell, it doesn't even have a front driveshaft.

Her pops or something ran the exhaust where the front dshaft goes.....I dont see why it was ever out to start but that is what I think you are asking about.
The exhaust shop ran the exhaust that way, my dad had nothing to do with it. I took it to the exhaust shop and I talked to the guy myself, I told him to leave room for it and he didn't. So the guy made a mistake, big hairy deal. I don't understand why some of these guys decide to bash their Broncos on rocks, but have I EVER said anything or questioned anyone's choice of what they choose to do with THEIR Bronco? No, because its their choice what they do with their Bronco...I'd appreciate it if you'd give me the same courtesy and quit acting like I'm not good enough to be on FSB with the hard core wheelers because I chose a different way to build my truck.

A few drag broncos are on here... those are the real people you want to talk with. Broncobabe has others do the work so may not know all there is to know about it.
What is this about? You said you've never met me and you go and judge me? Maybe you forgot that part about my health problems and there are some things I physically can NOT do because of doctor's orders. I turn wrenches every chance I get, so get your facts straight about me before you go running your mouth again.

kthxbye

Oh and to the original poster, I think your question has been answered. Yes, I am the infamous "2WD" FOTM. I don't remember this site being www.hardcorewheeling4WDBroncos.com, but evidently some people are threatened by what I've accomplished. :toothless

Most of us? Hey, if he's gonna smart off about me, I'll fight back. When he gets off my back, I'll drop it, but until then I refuse to keep my mouth shut because gobucs and a couple others in the newly formed "BroncoBabe Hater Club" have a problem with me and what I choose to do with my truck.

Finishlinewest did a 2wd conversion for a desert racer. Here is a FSB Thread (http://fullsizebronco.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17486&page=1&pp=20)

He has a web site link in there somewhere.

Ya know...Gobucs, maybe you should read the line you put in your sig a little better. Giving me hell when you choose not to understand its MY truck and I can do what I want...true ignorance.

And why is it, whenever he calls me out or smarts off about me and I reply, he never replies to me. Why is that?

WOW......

Did not intend to stir the hornet's nest.

I got what I needed, thanks to those that pointed me in the right direction;
I think the reference to the 2WD FOTM is Broncobabe's, which IS a 4x4 just missing the front driveshaft.
I enjoyed seeing the 4x2 conversions, which is what I was looking for.

To each his own, in my opinion; I like all Broncos, of all years and with or without front driveshafts or converted to 2WD.

Thanks again for the responses.
Just an unsolicited observation: Broncobabe and gobucs, I'll bet that you have much more in common than you differ on, and if you both sat down with an adult beverage and chatted, would probably get along just fine...

Glad we live in a country where we have the security, economic strength, and freedom of choice to pursue our interests and hobbies and build what we want.

that is a great observation 4byford...and probably true for alot of other folks here who squabble over whatever topic. i've butted heads with some folks here who later turned out not to be the a-holes that i originally pegged them for. quite the opposite actually. we certainly can't "all get along" all the time, but differing "opinions" are just that.

All right, I think that there was an Aussie on here a while back with a Late model
2wd Bronco.

Now as for BroncoBabe, She was NOMINATED for FOTM.
She was voted the Top Dawg for May, and deserved it. For her Bronco, Friendship,
and just all around charm in this Club Forum.
I've been missing alot of the forums because of work lately, so I don't know why or how the bashing started.

But you guys really need to smash the mud slinging and back stabbing. This is suppose to be a kinder gentler forum
