been adding some mods to the board today...

#1: added the hack to seperate announcements, sticky's and regular topics, I think it looks good that way and if we ever had something really important to say it would make it easier to see :mrgreen:

#2: in the links above you'll now see "staff site", it will give you easier access to me, gearrat, zilla and all the Moderators if you need something

#3: adjusted the HTML code to stop it from making the page sooooo big (scrolling to the right) when a small picture was added, it will still widen if a large picture is posted, no way around that, EXCEPT resizing your pics, about 500 pixels wide should do

so whats next? ? ?

#1: I am looking at adding a links page that will be seperated by category that all registered users will be able to add their own links to

#2: also looking at adding a Frequently Asked Questions Page that would be set up like the forum FAQ link at the top but would be for Bronco related things only

#3: a statistics page, showing posts, top topics, top posters and a bunch of other stuff

and who knows what else, I do listen to everyones ideas even if I dont respond right away so keep letting me know what you'd like to see (or not)

at some point maybe :mrgreen: the only reason I havent done it is the added bandwidth it would eat up, right now we are using 10-12GB of bandwidth per month, to add direct uploads it would at least double, maybe triple the bandwidth, which = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ we dont have to spend quite yet, I have thought of doing it on a pay basis, something like 25.00 a year or something, but we'll see, right now i think everyone should take advantage of the free services of superford for sure

I have to say that it would be cool, but not really needed, at least for most of us. Maybe you could set it up and charge for the option for those that need it or just aren't very PC savy. :shrug ;)

we had discussed direct uploads and voted against it as the monthly fees would go up .. makes more sense to use Superford or Montypics for anything that is worthy enough to be posted I think
