i would like to, DFW would be the only place i could do it though. due to money restrictions and some family obligations i will be gone a lot though. if you are willing to set it up and we get enough people we could do a meet and greet at someplace around here, there are TONS of resteraunts we could meet up at. you set it up and ill try my hardest to make it

Oh yeah Dos... i have flowmasters instead of Gibs... BUT as for the meet, lets try for Waco or something. I got the money/gas issue right now. Lol, and my truck is actin up. Cant figure out whats wrong. It idles down to like 500rpm and then juices it up to about 2000rpm on its own. and when im driving, it starts trying to go on its own, and the battery keeps fluctuating too. Let me know if you know what might be wrong. -Bryan :thumbup

MuddyBronco13

well ... waco would be perfect for me :thumbup , if enough people would be intrested, it would be more central, but there is a severe lack of any kind of offroading here, so if we wanted to just meet up and talk a bunch then we could do it here, but if we wanted to do an offroad deal and talk a bunch then DFW would be the most perfect spot for it. I will make another topic w/ a poll in it to see what everyone thinks.

juggernaut89

Nobody wants to leave thier own city... everyone has the same gas milage problem, we all drive the same truck, come on suck it up and lets all meet somwhere

I like that attitude! lol :rockon And yeah true, but see, i have no job... (no job = no money = not very far :banghead ) i will see if my parents can toss some cash into my tanks for the haul ass to DFW. :beer :thumbup But i dunno. I'm gonna be at a lame family reunion of my g/f's... in yokum. (few trails at her great grandmas house!) fortuneately and unfortunately we are takin her car (gets like 30miles to the gallon versus my 5 :cry). I was also thinking... what about shiloh ridge, or somewhere in San Antone? There's bound to be some around San Antonio, and if not, we could definately make our own. and well, seein how im 18, im quite the rebel if you ask my family and friends, and i would do just that. :chili: :rebelflag :wacko but anyways, let me know!!!! -Bryan

i know i cant drive for 3 hours anyway, i have to work on the weekends, but i could take one day off to go to DFW or austin.

Either way, everyone go to the thread w/ the poll for location and voice your opinion and vote, for the one you would most like to do

Looking at the map theres not many members in the DFW area but I'm up for it.
Does anyone know of any parks or places to wheel in Austin? Looking at the map, that seems more of an equal drive for everyone. Or Kileen? im not familiar with many places around there. Out here Spring Creek has lots of trails n stuff, lots of people wheel out there...

If Foghorn and other Oaklahoma members chime in, DFW would be the best place to meet

Send some PMs!

bigric

Austin is a lot more central, but there aren't any legal places here to wheel that I'm aware of unless anybody here owns or knows somebody who owns some land. Anybody?

There are places in San Antonion and the DFW area, however.

Bluebeast

There are a couple of places to wheel in San Antonio that would be fun to hit. Depending on where the get together is I'd like to hit it.
http://www.clineranch.com/
The local 4x4 club hits this place pretty often and they are still cutting trails and if you cut one you get to anme it.

Seein' as how I am 8,000 miles away, it doesn't matter to me where THIS year's get together is...BUT, next year I will definitely attend if one is scheduled in Texas. DFW would be my location of choice.

Hey, maybe I can get Missy to attend this year for me if it is in DFW...she drives the Bronc more than she drives her own car since I've been gone...

BroncoDragon

that place in san antonio, the one on the post, yeah i dont think i will be hittin any trails there.... looks to rugged for me. I have just above stock truck..... (a few upgrades) and well, personally, i'd rather make or find my own muddy trails than ride along with someone... but it would be fun anyways. Will be my first ride too. :beer :goodfinge :chili: Well, I know there are some others in San Antone... :thumbup And i talked to the old people that pay the bills at this house and they said that they could throw some cash in my tanks :chili: :thumbup if i want to go to DFW... so keep it updated! -Bryan

Yeah ClineRanch is a real bitch, but they are still trying to cut trails so hopefully the Cline's can keep it open they can have all types of trails in the future. I'm up for Austin and maybe Waco, but DFW is just a little too far for me.

Come on DirtyDeedz, help us out. Try to get the 5-0's out. I'm already up to my neck with them as it is. lol :slap cant afford any more tickets. But as far as cline ranch goes, sorry, but you'd have to count me out. I'll talk to a few people i know, and see if they know any places to go here or somewhere else... I'll let ya know. -Bryan :beer

Ok i was searching the net due to boredom, and i found a couple of places to go here in austin. Now im not sure what the guy was saying, but he said something like if you talk to the city of austin you can get permission to off-road at one of the places, and then other place is owned by someone but if you ask him he will more than likely let you wheel on his land. This land is rugged, from what i heard, and probly can be tackled with a stock bronco. :chili: But anyways, i will keep talking to him and find out what I would need to do. By the way, one of the places is across the street from Lake Travis High School.

Found a listing of 4x4/offroad/truck things, so check it out and see if anything comes from it... http://www.truckworld.com/Truck-Clubs/clubs2.html#TEXAS I'm gonna be contacting a couple people on that site to see if they can fill me in on some places to wheel at.
