Having read his post about moving to Florida, and a few mentioned getting together before he goes, I thought I'd see about the interest in a weekend run, to see him off. I couldn't really be trail leader/organizer/whatever, since I don't know any trails, the legalities of it all, I'm just bringing it up for discussion

I'm sure we can get enough of us from WA and OR to justify meeting at a campsite somewhere for a weekend. But what weekend? I don't know what anyone else's schedules are, but mine are pretty flexible. June is completely shot for me, and July is questionable, but may be do-able. The only thing is, I need to swap engines in my wife's Bronco, and finish building my dodge. This way, I can have a tow rig and a trail rig....in case I break her Bronco again

And the first weekend of August, I'm commited to Sodbuster's inaugural mud race. So, when is a good time? Mid/late July? Mid/late August?

Late July would work best for me!
Going to have to fix that front end first... Daily drivin is fine, but wheelin?
Wouln't want to drag a broken bronco across the USA. ;)

Okay, heres the deal, we start out at Dave's fix all his crap, then to my house fix all my crap, then to Pepes fix all his crap and wheel at his ORV place...

Cool. I think I can pull it off on the weekends of 18-20th or the 25-27th...again, that will depend on me getting both trucks running - which really shoulnd't be a problem(provided my pending sales actually come thru)

It's actually, mostly wide open. The reason I'm so fond of this park is the type of wheelin it offers.
A few mudholes and some nice hill climbs! I've been there 2 times and had a blast, but really doubt we'll need to be very organized. i'll lead us there and around as needed, but should be a great free for all! :cheers:

I just reached my first obastacle in making this trip. Kris works nights, and some weekends. So now, I won't know if I can make the trip until the last minute. Not ideal, but it's the best I can do right now

Problem I have with any weekend... I work Sun - Thu w/Fri & Sat. off. If we can get this thing organized for any specific weekend I can work it to take any Sunday off, with enough advance setup (the more the better).

How's about the first weekend of September? 5-6-7?

Labor Day weekend is so packed with other events... I was hoping to go to the rock crawl even that weekend, in Goldendale, but that's out of the question. Sadly, I doubt I'll be able to make it anywhere, no matter how far in advance I plan it. Plus, with my kids being in school by then, that ruins any plans I might have wanted to make

Labor day weekend Im building the courses for the Prison Break comp in Monroe. Weekend after Ill be in Goldendale for the calrocs event, weekend after that is the Prison Break Comp.

I think the comp in Monroe,WA would be a kick ass place to hook up and BS.

hmmmmmm, heres what my schedule looks like:

labor day- getting drunk
5th &6th- rock crawl
12th & 13th- be in Vegas at a wedding
19th till ????- planting fall crops

I haven't even had time get my old axles out of my bronco, but I do finally have enough $$ to buy the dana 60 & 70 and get my motor finished. Now i just need to find the time, and energy.

So who's all planning on the 6th or 7th?
