Man, I would love to join you guys but I broke my front axle as usual last weekend. Some pretty sweet wheeling right here in Boulder. I had seen it before but never done it. Anyway I just bought a house and don't have a whole lot of time or $$ to fix it. I think I may have a spare laying around somewhere but have not come up with it yet. If I can get her fixed by then I would be in, but don't count on it.

Traffic does suck on sundays, it took me 1hour to get from gerogetown to idaho springs. Any way I would love to go but I will be on Holy Cross that weekend. I am up for going the first week in August if not then not until september, alot of wheeling planed. The trail starts off of HWY 9 just off the summit of Hoosier pass. IF you are coming from the east turn right on road 4, it is a blue sign with the number 4 on it and follow it all the way down. A good place to meat would be Breck, espically since I am coming the from the south.

I am going back up in the middle of august, but I alerdy have plans to go to holy cross this weekend. I am up for a meet and great, but i live 2hrs south of Denver so give some fair warning. :thumbup

Maybe for the next Meet N Greet we should find a place in the mountains that is close to everyone. Need to think about that one, any ideas???

Have fun on Holy Cross, tried to do that last year but I only had 33" tires and got hung up at French Creek. Are you camping up there?

As I said before I will be in the Breck area in the middle of august to run wheller lake again, my father in law and his jeep are making the trip with us but any body else that wants to come is encouraged to come and help pull me out of something because I always get stuck or my POS breaks. Give my a day or two and i will give you some definate dates.

I will be camping at Holy Cross, I may be riding and not driving if I cannot fix my bronco, My problem is posted in the 1980-1986 forum any help would be greatly appriciated. I had to cancel my chinaman and minnsweeper trip due to this problem.

Any body sees a 1987-1991 bronco for sale with decent miles and a good body(no rust) PM me I am looking for an upgrade.

Not sure when you want to meet on Saturday but how about at the McDonalds in the Home Depot parking lot at Wadsworth and I-70, it is about a block north of the highway.

Sorry guys. I haven't been on the board in a while. It sucks but I won't be able to make it. I have to work Sat and Sun and the truck is still not fixed. I am in the process of buying a house and moving so I am concentrating on that. If we can get a trip together late August or Sept that would be sweet. Maybe Moab. BTW dave it's the drivers side axle shaft and I don't have a spare. If either of you have a spare I'll take it. Also my drivers caliper is leaking so I need to replace that and the ABS is screwed up in the front. It's probably due to the axle breakage. That's not really a big deal though as I have a cutoff switch. Anyway have fun boys and take lots of pics.

Keep trying to get us together. This weekend I'll be in Steamboat springs for a wedding on saterday. I want to take the bronc and thought about playing but can't till sunday. I'd be heading south towards Pueblo on sunday.

funny you should ask that dave, today was my last day of in-active reserve. 1 year on the delayed entry program, 6 years active duty, and 1 year out as of july 20th.
as the MnG, i will be doin my rear brakes on the bronco hopefully this weekend. and a few more little things an gettin her aligned some time next week. so i got my fingers crossed, maybe next week i can start drivin her more often, you wouldnt recognize my 78. it has undergone a lot of changes since you saw it last. it is now primer gray, i took the 3 inch body lift off and put a 1 inch on, i got a winch bumper and winch on the front of it, and there is no more rust on the drivers side except for the rear lower corner. so basicly i can get together as long as i dont have to drive too far. (dont want to take it farther than i have to for the first few weeks.

oooh and the deal fell through on that 79 bronco.

Let me know when your Bronco is trail ready! I know a killer little trail about 45 minutes west of Denver that kicks butt. It is rated hard but not really all that bad in a Bronco.

You should be able to park a tow rig at montgomery res. I guess the trail head is on the side. Come own up if you break someting we'll help you out any way possible. I'm wanting more broncos to go so lets get that beast going. and Paul weren't you selling a np203? I'm looking for one with a c-6 adapter on it to.

yes i did have a 203 mated to a c6 but i traded it for the winch bumper. i do have a spare 205 t case layin around. as long as my t case in my bronco is good.

i cant wait to see them. i havent been up to wheeler lake in almost 6 years. i ended up getting out of worlk at 11. i saw you guys just after the morrison exit iff c470. i was goin the opposit direction. well i am ready to get my bronco aligned hopefully some day this week. ill let you guys know.

How was the "Waterfall?" Sometimes it can be real tough other times not so bad. I heard the big mud pit is closed off too. Pictures, Pictures :beer

Never made it to the water fall. I got stuck on the hill before it. I posted hot it went in the chit chat on the sencond page. Dave will have his pics up later today and I hope to have the video done and up tommorow.
