I dont think alot of people are gonna want pop-ups. They get old quick. I for one wouldnt like it. All you have to do is look up on top of the screen and see the link anyway.

yup, proposed that already .. it's not a warez porn pop up 300 times in 1 minute .. just a subtle reminder .. I think it is a good idea .. pavementsucks is always high on the rankings .. think it may havea little something to do with it or what?

the only reason I am really opposed to this idea is because I HATE pop ups on any site, I may be more for a pop behind that you wouldnt see until you closed the window, i'd like to hear a little more feedback from everyone before i do anything like that though, maybe we could try it for a few weeks or something and see how it works

yea try it out sounds good. on pavementsucks it comes up ONLY if you WANT it to there is a box to check in your profile. so if you dont want it to pop up you just dont check the box.

Just my opinion here, I :flipoff: HATE :flipoff: popups, spam, junkmail :flipoff: :flipoff: I come to work and have about 50 junk emails in my mailbox, pisses me off. There is nothing more irritating when trying to check out or reading a web site and get popups. I say no!! It's at the top of the page on the forums.

I personally wouldn't mind a pop up if it only came up once every 24 hours, not each and every time I clicked on the main forum page. I've been voting every day tho, it's become a habit so it's not like I need a reminder but I wouldn't mind it.

I actually got an email from pavementsucks a while back when I use to go there pretty often. The email asked if I wanted to set it up so that it would automatically vote whenever I went to the site. I proposed it on the other site but couldn't figure out how they did it. But I recently looked at the rules at Top4x4 and they said it was illegal which is probably why they switched to a pop up reminder.

Well I just put my AM vote in, its 1:30 in the morning and we are now #1. If I never do anything in my life at least I can say my vote made a diffrenece that I could see. We are only ahead by 1 vote at the moment but we sure have made some big progress in the ranks this month. When I looked the scores where in 1st FSB with 1000 votes, that other site we dont talk about here with 999, and the early bronco site with 990. It feels good to see 2 bronco sites in 1st and 3rd.
