View Full Version : SAW BUSH TODAY
oregonbronco 08-13-2004, 09:30 PM Yesterday, I volunteered to help set up the Bush convention. Today, they said I could help man the microphones, and so far I have been on local news, and Fox News. Let me tell you it was Awesome. There was a Q and A with Bush, and two Vets got up and ripped Kerry. One lady asked for a hung for her brother in Iraq, because her brother said he only wants to serve under him, so he gave her a hug and kiss for her. There were some funny sidemarks without naming names, but were making references to Kerry/edwards. One lady rose her hand and said I served with you in 1971 in the National Guard in Texas, and YOU DID SERVE!!!!!!!! The best was at the end, Bush gave my friends GF a Hug, and I shook Bush's hand 3 times, and my borther talked to Luara Bush for a second. Awesome Day got awesome Pictures

Oh and congrats on meeting bush OB. As far as murdering pieces of shit, I think I would rather meet and shake the hand of Charlie Manson, he didnt kill as many people and can spell, read, AND write on his own.
Maybe next time Cheney can just read him the damn book, so he doesnt waste 7 more minutes trying to figure out how to "sound out" g g g ooooo aaaa ttt.

Off rant now.
Bill@setel.com 08-14-2004, 05:47 PM IF anyone knows where I can get a few of the oval W '04 stickers - or if anyone has a few laying around. I'd love to get some. I have searched all over the web and cannot find the one like I am looking for.

bAdKARma88 08-15-2004, 05:13 PM **** you SrATEX, two people in my family are over there are I support them whole heartedly. My family and I send carepackages every month, we even threw a keggar for them and ALL of their marine buddies (trust me, that wasn't cheap). How ****ing dare you say I don't support our soldiers? SSgtTEX 08-15-2004, 05:19 PM Man **** yourself asshole, you go off trying to preach how bush is the evil man. you sit there and say kerry needs to be in office when these family and buddies of yours are serving. well you know what ****wad, if you think of it for more then we are over there to remove a man from power and set up a goverment to help protect this country, then you would realize we arent there for his personal agenda. What is he benifiting from sending us there. Oh wait I forgot he needs to finish daddy's job and to get all that oil, but wait, dumbass, gas prices still high and we still followed the UNs conditions to remove Iraq from Kuwait. And you keep supporting Kerry, but as long as you do you will not truly support the troops. All he is out to do is screw with us. He will cut funding, he wont pull us out, we will stay there. And if we do get pulled out, then that would open us up for another attack, dick

I never once said Kerry needs to be in office, not once. As for gas prices, they aren't going to go down as long as big bush-backed corporations are going to follow his shitty example and put the people last. I'm not even a democrat, but like my cousin's and their comrades in military, I ****in hate Bush. Who says that if I support Kerry I don't support the troops? Only person I hear saying it is you, and you don't mean shit. How will pulling out of Iraq open us to another attack? They had nothing to do with 9/11 or any other terrorist acts, we already opened ourselves up by going in there in the first place, dick.
Respect and sarcasm don't go well together, there was no sign of respect in your thanks for supporting the troops comment.
SSgtTEX 08-15-2004, 07:17 PM ok when i said respect, it was with out going hey **** you, like you did.
Somolia had nothing to do with terrorist organizations either. But it has been said in interviews, that because we pulled out, that is why we were attacked. It showed us as weak, and scared of losing troops. Now you and your brother and his buddies hate bush, well those are the only military i heard ****ing hate bush. Yeah i got guys in my unit that arent impressed with everything he has done, but back him 100%. And you are just as bad as Kerry flip-flopping, I sit back and watch these political threads, on you supportinng Kerry, while Marv, Franklin, and 95bxl try to say counter your claims. that just makes me laugh.
I figured out why 11 Sept 01 happend.
It all started with the civil war that was raging in Somalia. Clinton sent in a force of 20,000 Marines. That put the uprisings at bay. When we withdrew, they started again. As a reaction we sent the Rangers and Delta boys in along with some AF Pararescue and the Army's 160th SOAR to capture Aidid. Well I am sure you have all seen the movie "Black Hawk Down" and no close to what happened over there. So I will not go into that. The media filled screens across the country and world with dead American soldiers. This caused Clinton to hastily withdraw our soldiers in fear of another death. Pulled out after 18 died in one day of fighting. That very thing is what hurt us. With our withdrawl from Somalia in Oct. 93 labeled us. We were labeled as scared and could not stand to see our soldiers killed. (no i dont like when my fellow brothers and sisters are killed, but it happens) This opened up to many terrorists. We were attacked bit by bit, each one getting bigger. And finally 11 Sept 01 happened. These things were happening right in front of our very own noses. People dont realize the scale of the attacks and plots on the US and its interests. Now we are in a war against terrorism in Afghanistan and Iraq. Now before the ones that say what does Iraq have to do with terrorism. Think about this. The man that was the WTC bomber of 93, Ramzi Yousef, came into the US using an Iraqi passport. This man was a highly skilled killer for the Muslim Jihad against the Soviets in Afghanistan. He is also believed to be an Iraqi intellegence agent. Now i know WTC 93 happened before Somalia but it is all still linked. And it is awfully funny how things got progressively worse after we pulled out now isnt it.

spence007 08-16-2004, 10:37 AM The 911 commission found Al Queda and Iraq had several meetings, so even if Iraq had nothing to do with 911 it would have just been a matter of time before Iraq would have supported Al Queda in an attack against the U.S.
My numbers may be off but in the 90's Kerry missed something like 39 of 48 Intelligence meetings while on the Senate Intelligence Committee I think this would be during the first World Trade Center Attack, so I think Kerry has a priority problem.

LOL New poll bush 51-48 not even going into the convention (no canditate has lsot when his approval rating is over 50%), Kerry is caught in his lies in Vietnam, But Kerry choose to only Run on one thing and that is Vietnam, and when he gets it exposed by Veterans, its all of a sudden a RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY, AND FUNDED BY BUSH, AND THE RNC LOLLLLL Sorry when the Liberal Media finally has to pick up on the Veterans, it will be over. A aid for Clinton said even though he hates to admit it, he expects it in the End to be a land slide. I dont know if it will be a land slide, but Kerry cant run on Vietnam, bashing Bush, and wanting it both ways. He has to have an agenda which he does not. Why should a Senator from who only passed one bill in his whole 20+ years in Seantor, be fit for President?

Beerman, you want us to find a post that is stupid, well I hold a lot of respect for you, what you do with your rig, and your way of being very outspoken, but to be honest a stupid post are the two in here. They are completely assinine. If you are going to call Bush a murdering scumbag then you will have to say every member of congress is to that has ever voted to send us into a fight. Bush doesnt have the free will to send us anywhere with out consent. It called checks and balances, that is why they are there. One man cannot run this country alone. That is the whole reason it is there, to keep us from having a dictatorship.
Now im still trying to figure out how BK thinks the military ****ing hates Bush. Yes there are a few that dont like him, in fact some might despise him. But those few still want him in office this term. Now the majority, bout 99% of them, like Bush, no we all dont agree with everything, but name a president that has done everything "perfect." I would have to say never has there been one. But being around members of the military everyday, having my buddies, my shop, and just about 90% of my friends that are military, all like bush. Most of them have been overseas, and they dont like it over there, no one ever does, but they still arent mad at Bush for sending them there. We know what we are there for, we agree with what we are the for, and we do are jobs. Now myself, I havent been over yet. But I will most likely be on the January rotation. Which where Im going, ill be either 39 miles from the Iraqi border or in the middle of all the stans. I have no problem with it. I know states side bases still have to be ran, but it kills me that I know guys that will go over there for one rotation, come back and have to leave a week later. Now some may say oh the Air Force isnt near any fighting. Well 39 miles aint that damn far from the Iraqi border. And even though Im Aero Repair, Im still a crew chief my training, that means I will be riding that bird into Iraq, places like Baghdad. Or if im at the other base, Kandahar. But the thing is that makes it really worth all the long days, the one week working 0700-1600 next week working 0000-0700, the being away from my family, fiancee, friends, the low pay, the danger of losing my life, the being in a combat zone and not get shit for it, and all the other crap I have to put up with it, is I know Im keeping the people safe back home. and this line of the US constitution establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity I know that what we are doing is for the better, just like our president does. Not like some other scum. Every member of the military swore an oath under God. To uphold LAWFUL orders, uphold the constitution, and several other things. We know the orders from Bush and congress are lawful and righteous orders. It isnt like we are going around taking over the world like yall make it out to be.
Clause 11: To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;
Clause 12: To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years;
Clause 13: To provide and maintain a Navy;
Clause 14: To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces;
Clause 15: To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;
Clause 16: To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;
hmm so i wonder where it said Bush can take over the world in there.

...and now I am at the just give me a hug state.Here ya go...:hug :hug :hug :hug :hug :hug :hug :hug :hug :hug :hug :hug :hug :hug My new job is really stressful,...I sympathize. Uncle Sam gave me three ulcer surgeries and half a dozen bleeders. Try staying calm when they pump blood into your arm while they're talking about HIV tainted blood supplies! :shockedIt feels good to be back working again though and not on disability....and that's the best therapy.Oh and please dont take anything I say to heart, even with the mom jokes and shit, I am just as dick headed as the next guy when it comes to arguing politics,...The only thing I get dick headed over are the damned pinko commie gnats the window A/C sucks in. They always try to share my vodka tonic! :madderI should stay away from this section.Nah, jump in, splash around and enjoy the fun! :thumbup

jackhart 08-18-2004, 01:38 AM Jackhart isnt really a kerry supporter, he just likes debating and saying hey look at everything.
thank God somebody understands me...
SSgtTEX 08-18-2004, 01:41 AM yeah, ive tried telling people, hell you even said it yourself in a post, but most of my posts go unnoticed that are like that
95 BXL 08-18-2004, 02:53 AM yeah, ive tried telling people, hell you even said it yourself in a post, but most of my posts go unnoticed that are like that
The reason has nothing to do with the fact that you post it. The reason is that no one believes it.
The fact is that NO ONE defends, to the extent jack has defended, someone he doesn't support.
His position fails the duck test. It also fails the reality test, a reality that, while he may refuse to admit it to himself or anyone else, flies in the face of a claim that his words prove to be untrue.
Like his hero says, the fact that he claims he's not a Kerry supporter does not make it so. In fact, his words and his efforts prove exactly the opposite.
When you post, for example, that "Jackhart isnt really a kerry supporter, he just likes debating and saying hey look at everything," the one huge hole in that observation is that consistently, on issue after issue, the only "everything" he wants to "look at" is from the Kerry supporter perspective.
Or have I missed the posts where he's expressed concerns about Kerry's pathological lying? Or his lack of gravitas? Or his hypocrisy?
You see, if it was all about "everything," then the presentations would be even-handed, questioning BOTH sides.
So where, oh where, are the posts where he questions the actions or history of Kerry?
Kerry, I submit, is PART of "everything," yet rarely to never is jackhart
"looking" at him. "Everything" includes BOTH sides. But, so far, BOTH sides ain't in his lexicon.
SSgtTEX 08-18-2004, 04:05 AM ok 95, now you just a little over in my opinion. I personally know Dave, even had a little political talk after his 1000 mile drive to WITC. Yes there has been posts in the past that he has said bad about kerry. Man now is the time to chill, Dave isnt voting for Kerry
Franklin 08-18-2004, 10:07 AM Beerman don't waste your time with Franklin, it's effortlessly easy to shoot down his arguments and prove him wrong, don't even waste your time. He and the other old farts that claim we know nothing due to our youth somewhat remind me of the elders in the Catholic church, who were so set in their ways they wouldn't accept the fact the world was round. Learn from history, the world is round, not flat. George W. Bush is a moron, not a president.
This coming from someone who still suckels his parents teets. And 30 isnt Old Fart age kid. Someday after you actually have a job, a house, actually pay taxes and have to provide for yourself your opinions may change to reflect the expierences from 18-30. Do you really not see how your opinions carry little weight because of your lack of real world expierence?
And please show us one single arguement that you have proved me wrong on. If an 18 yo is so keen on world economic and political affairs it must be occured numerous times? :histerica :histerica :histerica
Beerman I aint gonna hug you but I will say I will apologize. No hard feelings here ya fawkin Mormon :toothless

godless 08-18-2004, 10:12 PM well beerman, glad you are doing good, i know how the learn more then the brain can hold is, in tech school 6 months of learning the aircraft inside and out, i thought my head was going to explode. just wish I could be in the whatever land right now, i think my beer has started getting a little old from just sitting in my fridge, it is one of those, drink it all, but i dont care to down 20 or so beers in one sitting
I will let you in on a little secret.
If you have a bunch of old beer in the fridge, what you want to do is turn your fridge up and slowly freeze it.
(dont put them in the freezer, they will freeze too fast and explode).
I keep my beer in a small corner fridge and I keep it just above freezing, but sometimes when it gets down to only having 2-4 beers in the fridge, 1-2 of them will freeze.
My point, if you freeze them, then slowly dethaw them, pour the contents into a drinking glass. If you can get MOST of the color from the liquid, then you are Disco, if not then let it sit a little longer.
What is happening is that you are concentrating your beer. Alcohol doesnt freeze, so when the liquid around the alcohol melts the alcohol will be the first portion to pour out easily, followed by the malt/hops/barley/etc.
The water will be the very last thing to melt completely into liquid.
You will then have a fresh tasting, frost brewed, concentrated beer, that has a higher alcohol per volume content!
No wasted beer! :beer
This of course works way better on microbrew/ales/stouts/lagers/etc. Your run of the mill pilsners wont have the same effect because there is nothing behind brewing them.
Budwieser makes and bottles beer so fast that you really dont get much flavor, just a cheap tasting pilsner.
In fact The first and last bottling of those "Large corp. named american brewers" kegorators is usually bottled under another name since the middle of the batch is the best tasting. (Example Natural light comes from the top and bottom of the pot, compared to Bud Light which would be from the center)
Reason, yeast sediments sink, unfiltered hops float.
Speaking of pilsners, the only true good tasting old fashioned pilsner IMHO is Pabst Blue Ribbon.
Most people think that is white trash beer, but in all reality its a good old fashioned beer that hasnt changed in zillions of years.
Bitter after taste, salty/hoppy flavor, golden blonde color.
As a beer eficenado, I tend to avoid pilsner at all cost. If it didnt come from my pocket, then I will drink em, or if I am sharing with a crowd then thats what i will buy.
Truthfully I tend to stop by the liquor store twice monthly to buy Sam Adams select beers.
I usually buy Creme Stout, and the Boston Lager.
Lately I tried the Cherry Wheat which makes for a great desert beer, and the Sam Adams Light pilsner.
Sam Adams is one of the best brewers in the world, the commercials you see arent lieing to you. :beer
Other beers to avoid:
Hieneken in the green bottle. My brewer friend advised that the green bottle will iminate light during the shipment and the reflection from the green glass kills the flavor, and enhances the growth gestation of bacteria.
Take this challenge, drink two or three Heini's in the keg can, then have a bottled. You will probably spit it out.
Now if you are a regular beer drinker you will know that this is usually just opposite. Most beers taste better in the bottle since the flavor of the beer can be tainted by the taste of the can, not true when it comes to keg cans.
True story:
I bought two 32oz bottles of Heini from my local gas station once, and headed over to a friends house just to relax and drink some brew.
I drank both bottle in apx 1.5 hours. (Average time, not slamming nor parking on them).
Both bottles tasted different. Both had that distinct bitter taste of Heini, but one was a little flatter tasting than the other.
This could have simply been caused by the flatter tasting bottle being exposed at the end of the shelf near the lights in the store longe then the other beer that wasnt as flat tasting.
Get it? Exposure to light throught the green tinted glass could have killed the flavor.
Also another good tip to remember on beer:
Beer has 3 enemies, Age, Heat, and light. In that order.
SO try and keep your beer in a dark cool place, and enjoy them within 2 weeks of purchase.
I hope this lesson has helped out.
Good day.
Ah, vodka & tonic with a twist of lime. Alcoholic, tart, vitamin C, and the breakfast of champions! :thumbup
(Nice hijack there, beerguy! :D )
WhoaDammit 08-18-2004, 11:33 PM good direction, but I'm not up to speed on the topic...
