wheel spacers are usually the thibg that people use. be careful however, they put added strain on your lugs. as my brother can tell you. his wheel fell off, but it WAS a chebby

More Backspacing = Further your tires/wheels stick out. Its basically the deeper your wheels are the more backspacing there is. Understand?

Wheel spacers suck. get new wheeles or if you want them to stick out a whole lot put dualie axles on it

Get you some 10" wide "Rock Crawlers" with 2.75" backspacing and some tires 11.50 or wider. Then stay the fawk out of Jersey or Washington State or you will be ticket bait. :drinkbud

California too. Unless you have fender flares that stick out as wide as the tire.

Arizona has such laws as well, but it is never really enforced

you all say that these laws arent enforced, but they are. just because you dont get pulled over for it, doesnt mean you aint gonna get it eventually. most likely, you arent going to get pulled over just for the tires. but say you blow a red light and get pulled over, and you are rude the cop, or he has a bad day, then he tags you for everything thing he can find. our hobby has a bad rap already, dont be an idiot, and make sure you and your truck are safe.

youre right, but thats what i mean by not enforced, they wont go looking for people whose tires stick out a tad too much... if its out there like 6 inches on each side maybe they will pull you over for just that... my wrangler's 31X10.5 on AR rims stuck out 3 inches past the fender flares... then i removed the flares and the thing looked SICK

have you read the lift laws? Just about every state has them. Almost all of us are violating those. :shrug

But how many red lights are in Trenton, GA anyway? Can the sheriff count that high anyway?

Washington state here and I've literally talked my way out of this ticket.
"I just got these rims becouse they just make the legal fit... blah blah blah" and he agreed that I probably wasn't beyond the legal limit, so then he told me about the MUDFLAPS law, that I had no idea about and gave me a seatbelt ticket! :brownbag

Anyway... I'm also on the 15x10 eagle's and I love 'em! :rockon

Of course the 35 BFG's M/T's don't hurt either! :toothless

P.S.: If ya like the shine, don't go Aluminium! Super bitch to keep clean, unless you give up on the shine and use metal prep like I do now. :brownbag

you can't fine a spec of break dust on my shiney rims; i work at a carwash with all the fun high pressure sprayers, and all the chemicals for the perfect shine; dont' think cleaning will be a problem :chili:
i'll go aluminium cos i plan on wheelin after the lift; aluminium would probally stand better in those conditions
