Hey guys I know this has come up a million times but I was working on my bronco today and snapped a few pics . I figured they might give some of you guys doing your SAS some ideas . I took it out to send it to be powdercoated , as you can see the spray paint was coming off . I fabbed up a custom trac arm using two 3/4" spherical rod ends and a 1" dom tube .

It will be interesting to see how all the different ideas pan out after a year of hard wheeling. The bracket looks stout, my only thought on it woulod be (and yes, I see that you tied into the xmemeber which may make this null) but the frame side bracket only mounts with 2 bolts? And it apparently doesn't wrap up the side of the frame or over the seam where the frame is 'boxed' right? That would be the obly weak point I could see. I know dave had some issues with his beacuse his mounting surface on the frame side was pretty small. he also had a longer bracket like yours, whcih translates to lots of leverage on the frame. OF course, his wasnt tied into the xmemeber.
Just food for thought. it looks strong.

The two bolts that are through the frame are 1/2 bolts that are also the bolts for the bottom or the spring hangers . I understand what you are saying about the length that is why I tied it into the x-member . The bolts trough the x-member are reinforced with a 1/4 steel plate on the inside . It seems to be good so far , no signs of stress on anything yet .
