well it looks like I will be going up on July 25-27th. Migh still try to make it up on this weekend too. Just depends on how the work on my junk goes.

toy huh.

yep toy. I want to keep the Bronco as my prerunner and I do not want to kill the body or worry about it so I bought a smaller trail only vehicle.

Let me tell ya...Los Coyotes Rocks.

Not too bad for a day trip. Weather was almost perfect...mechanincals were kept to a minumum...

So I'm saying if you don't go next weekend... YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON A GREAT TRIP!

El Hill still got the better of me (this time) ...but gearing and lockers weren't my downfall....It was my dang receiver hitch (hangs way too low for the angle of ascent). got really tempted to remove it and finish the climb.

It is open this weekend. I will be up there friday afternoon till sunday. Not taking the Bronco though. I will be testing my new "buggy". There is a group from PBB going. If anyone else wants to come out, they should. Maybe I will see some of you there?

locopny

how'd the buggy do?

jca

Nope...No One from Here:shrug

I was impressed with the buggy...being that it was it first time out. Need to finish it up and get it on 37's. I have pics I will post up as soon as I can get time to update my site.

I will see if I can link a pic from another if it works I will post more

Dayum JC. you been hanging with the benders...first time out of the box and you roll it! I know you were testing the new cage to see if it was safe for the family....

Bewareof peguins.....is that who I think it is?? Lance /Toyota
how'd you make that big turnwith the trailer? OK?

jca
07-29-2003, 01:27 AM
Thanks guys.

Yes that is Lance. The turn was a big non issue. There was plenty of room:thumbup We were seeing what the limits were before going over :toothless . I drove out of all of them though:thumbup no assistance needed. I was actually taking it pretty easy on the cage...I still have a few tubes to put in before it is the way I want it. It is better and stronger built (as is) then a lot of cages I see out there though
