Bronco Broad 06-10-2003, 12:58 PM Don't know of any clubs off hand out there-it certainly isn't us as we live on the West Coast-BC, Alberta..... Actually there is one in Quebec-not sure where they are. Check out the 4x4 voting sites. Bronco in the garage for wheel balancing and alignment-$350 later....... Damager 06-10-2003, 10:23 PM well doesn;t that just suck ... see, I keep tellin everybody there ain't no fukking trucks out this way  Bronco Broad 06-10-2003, 11:32 PM Did you try www.quebec4x4.com? They seem to havequite a few clubs in the Montreal and Quebec region-not sure just how big these clubs are. When we lived in Quebec we were into drag racing but out here in the good old west it seems to be offroading and quading. Offroading doesn;t seem to be as popular out there as it is in the Maritimes and Western Canada. Damager 06-10-2003, 11:36 PM you are so right :( ... coming from Colorado, I came from the "western element" so to speak ... BC is the same gig and that quebec4x4 is all french crap .. me no do da frenchie thing  Bronco Broad 06-10-2003, 11:51 PM Why do you think we moved out of Quebec and to Alberta? Thank God for military postings-did eight years and that was enough for me. You're right about the clubs out there-they are more into car racing than enything else. Ever thought of moving? Damager 06-11-2003, 10:41 PM every single solitary day .. I regret it constantly, but my children have family here (wifes family) as I have none of my own...so from an overall perspective it is the best thing...I just have to suffer through it for them .. isn't that what parents are supposed to do? ;) sacrifice for their kids? Bronco Broad 06-11-2003, 10:46 PM Well you know, you're not far from the Ontario border and Vermont isn't that far away. Is your wife Canadian and would she ever consider moving to the US? We live way out in Alberta and have absolutely no family here but have no intentions on moving back. There must be SOME trails you can ride on. :( :( :bawling NOBS! 06-11-2003, 11:25 PM Time for a road trip we'll put you up Damager 06-13-2003, 10:19 PM NOBS my man .. if I was within beer cap shooting distnce I would like to hook up and break some gear ... got a big spread east to west coast though ;) .. thanks :P Mr Bronco Broad 06-14-2003, 12:53 AM check this link http://www.can4x4.com/links/clubs.html#qc a list of quebec 4x4 clubs from canadian 4x4 magazine, also check their latest edition, they published the story about our December Obstacle course. Damager 10-06-2003, 11:57 PM Dude, if your REALLY good .. find one from a 78 F350 :thumbup --> Suggested Axles: get a Dana 60, but keep it a reverse spiral 77.5-79 for the 35 spline inner axle shafts. http://77cj.littlekeylime.com/web_rs44.html <--- look down near the bottom http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/60_front/index.html <-- pics near bottom .. axle info tags etc The most desirable axles for heavy duty 4x4 use in stock form have open kingpin knuckles, 35 spline inner axles, 30 spline outer axles (stub shafts), and disc brakes. Later model Ford high pinion (HP) Dana 60s with balljoints instead of kingpins are also desirable axles, though many prefer the kingpin knuckles over the balljoints. 1978-79 F-350 and some F-250 (Snofighter and High GVW packages) 1986-88 F-350 with dual rear wheels (DRW) 1988-91.5 F-350 with single rear wheels (SRW) 1992-95 F-350 (all) (balljoint) 1996.5-98 F-350 (all) (balljoint) 2000 F350/F450/F550 DRW (balljoint, metric 8x170mm wheel bolt pattern F350 / 8x220mm F450/F550, unit bearing hub) 2000.5 F350/F450/F550 DRW (balljoint, metric 8x170mm wheel bolt pattern F350 / 8x220mm F450/F550, unit bearing hub) 2001 F350 DRW (balljoint, metric 8x170mm wheel bolt pattern, unit bearing hub) 2001-02 F450/F550 DRW (balljoint, metric 8x220mm wheel bolt pattern, unit bearing hub) 2002 F250/F350 SRW (balljoint, metric 8x170mm wheel bolt pattern, unit bearing hub) 2002 F450/F550 DRW (balljoint, metric 8x220mm wheel bolt pattern, unit bearing hub) All these Ford versions were drivers side differential, reverse-cut (high pinion) gears, and kingpin knuckles to 1991.5 and balljoints thereafter. Most Ford D60s are internal style hubs, but external type lockout versions do exist. 2000 and later Ford D60s have balljoints, a metric wheel lug pattern of 8x170mm up to F350 and 8x220mm for F450/F550, different brakes and spindles, sealed "unit-bearing hubs", hub-centric wheels, different length axleshafts from the earlier D60s, and larger Superduty specific tie rod ends. From 2000 on, the Ford D60 front axle is also known as the Model 60F2000+ or the 248M. 248 just happens to be the equivalent in millimeters of 9.75" - the diameter of the D60s ring gear. :lolup that enough info for ya Bro :beer Big Freak'n Machine 10-07-2003, 12:38 AM ehh yeah...its more than enough ill do my best to find it...but when ill find it..not sure if ill keep it for me.....LOL:crazy ...LOL by the way ...nice copy paste of all that stuff........LOL Damager 10-07-2003, 12:44 AM shit .. you think I'd type all that :p .. no fukkin' way man :toothless but hey .. you asked :shrug :beer Big Freak'n Machine 10-07-2003, 12:56 AM You could be suprise of how much I can write on a single post on quebec4x4.com forum.. there is often wars between fullsize and all the rest.....and one night a wrote a text that took me 1h45....LOL no one said a f****word after that Im very patient..I have to win every time in every thing Damager 10-07-2003, 02:22 PM Originally posted by Big Freak'n Machine Im very patient..I have to win every time in every thing well then I will let you go through here first :thumbup http://www.superford.org/getfile.php?id=85856&toggle=fullsize&f=100_0017.JPG http://www.superford.org/getfile.php?id=85858&toggle=fullsize&f=100_0018.JPG Crazed 10-07-2003, 02:37 PM I would do it.
