Does anybody have a tranny kick down rod for a 351W/ C6? Mine has a crack in it at the bend and has gotten bent out of whack. They don't make the part anymore I have checked all local part stores and dealers to no avail. I'm not asking for a freebee but if anyone has one and is willing to part with it I’ll be glad to pay for it.

Try a local junkyard.

I have and they have them for 302 but not 351 theres three yards here that deal with some of my era of vehical. the rest are 90 and up only yards realy sucks.

now if you or anyone can tell me if a 302 rod will fit ok with no problems the problem solved if not I still need one. But thanks for the reply.

a 302 rod will fit i have an 85 with a edelbrock carb 351 windsor and c-6, everything hooked up and worked with a rod from an 86 with a 302

thanks for the info. I just had my old one brased (sp) till I can go the hot rod way with a reverse cable kit from Rokar. :thumbup :thumbup
