lol @ jopes, yeah sure jopes, like you need more sheep :)

anyhow MORE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

I think more power comes as a given for anyone here, but I hope to be pulling my Engine and Transmission the spring/summer, and going through both, The engine will get a '79 block, (70,000 kms) w/ an RV cam, and all bearing specs gone through carefully, '88 Heads and Intake (for the EFI of course) with the Intake polished lightly, and the Exhaust ported out for better flow, gonna add some bigger injectors (prob some 30# injectors), and I hope this combination will net me about 3-350 hp (which is all I need right now), as for the Transmission, the one inside the Bronco is almost shot, I almost blew her up trying to get unstuck from a mud hole, but never fear, I have a 460 trans sitting in the garage (2wd) what will be converted to fit the Transfer case, along with it being rebuilt, there will be a stage 2 shift kit installed.

shackle flip in the rear

Weren't you dogging the shackle flip earlier? about how the shackle is hanging too low and would get caught on the rocks?

jopes

yes, I still hate it. but I am not moving the springs down any lower than the hanger is right now.

in order to get the 4" of lift I needed before I was going to need a 8" shackle. thats alot of shackle hanging back there,

Plus I am welding in a 1" block. I am only looking for a gentle lift. ~ 1.5 inches with the shackle.

PS plus I am getting hydro assist steering.

D60 front axle (I've had it a year still not installed.)
ARB or E-Locker for front d60.
Probably an ARB in the 14 bolt also.
Coil-overs front.
Deaver rear springs and new shocks.
Paint job. (cheap one)

New interior, re-gear to 4-11 or 4-56, maybe a locker, and just wax the damn thing.

Damn I just assumed they made one. I never bothered checking figured if I go with one in the front mayas well do the back. I don't have a detroit in there Jopes it's the stock l/s. It works good but there are times I just want open diffs. I do trails also and there are times you don't want the dif. locked. I am bummed now I wonder if they will make an e-locker anytime soon?

jopes

well i have a D60 i need to install up front. wrist an arm. get a 460/C6 i can have rebuilt to a 502 BOSS! i dont know if i can make that C.I.D. but anyway. i want to get my rear disc kit shipped & installed. then lock it as cheap as possible cause i want to eventually get a 10.25 in there and i want that to have discs and a locker (ARB or some E-locker) and then bumpers and a winch ... and eventually another winch in back. i know guys that build signs and awnings and they want to make a frame that will bolt in using the factory setup and have a cover made like a fast-top. i just want my dogs in the shade when the tops off. i got my dual tray, i need another battery. i want a new 100A or bigger alternator. i think an onboard welder would be great. onboard air is another project. new windsheild this weekend i hope. plus i really need to figure out why the light bar stopped working. theres that cowl induction scoop i want to add for looks. welding 1/4" round stock around my wheel wells sounded good a while back. putting on that brand new tailgate i got with the 79 when i bought it. new exhaust. red neck ram. a smaller car that gets really good mileage...
