I've been under the Broad's Bronco for the past week doing an oil change!! Pop quiz all; How long does it take to do an oil change on an 87 Bronco????

Answer: 5 days if you have to cut the oil pan and weld in a patch when the drain plug was put in and stripped by a previous owner, then you end up breaking the inner thread whe fiddle-f***ing with it!

Damager
06-23-2003, 12:13 AM
5 days for the oil huh

that'd take 2 days, to rip out the ceiling, to put new rafters in where the light fixture was becasue the box wasn't secured to anything and it ripped out :goodfinge

So now that your sure I'm Canadian, O.K. Tell me...How's it goin', eh?

Sorry clicked on the wrong wheelin' section and couldn't resist.:D

I love the Great White North for 4 simple reason:

1: the money exchange is good going over
2: stripers are hot and liberal
3: a good night out won't kill your wallet
4: Damager has proven that it's O.K. to be a loser in more then one country

Didn't even catch this hee-are thread til' now

In answer to yer question; Yes manifolds worked just fine at first. That was what i was using when I got all those gains. The headers added 300 rpms to my 1st-2nd gear upshift and some mid range acceleration, but I'm asking myself were they really work the hassle and expense these days.

They Y-pipe is what you want.

As for the cross country check up; I live out in the country 20 miles South of gravytown (if you're french) {Ottawa} and only 30 miles North of the Newyork state border, in Dullard Mc Guilty's province of Ontario.

That's a shame it'll take so long GhostRider

every tankful you could be saving $$$ and have way more torque with it !

Have you seen the latest Y-pipe we built for my new Lincoln Town Car ?

http://www.supermotors.org/getfile/246249/fullsize/IMG_0117.JPG (http://www.supermotors.org/vehicles/registry/showmedia.php?id=246249&original=1)

http://www.supermotors.org/vehicles/registry/detail.php?id=9371&s=28549#content

Bigtime mileage increase on the Lincoln !!!!!!!!!

Can't use all the power I picked up because of the soft, mushy shifting Lincoln AOD settings. It's much, much quicker but it's not bang-screech like a Mopar shift or the harder shifting Bronco AOD.

During us doing the Lincoln's Y-pipe

we talked about making up five or ten to sell to FSBers in his slow time in late January. He said we'd use the Bronco as the template and make em' and fit each one.

It's a possibility, we'll see after Xmas
