Here's the deal...got this '96 black Bronco XLT for sale:

http://www.supermotors.org/getfile/173529/fullsize/view-driver%20side%20diagonal.JPG

I had advertised it a few months ago and then it was a hit-and-run victim. It's a long story, but insurance won't cover the repairs. Since a lot of y'all are handy with metal fab, I've decided to float this out there and see if anyone's interested.

Otherwise the Bronco is in super condition...145,000 mi, leather and all power, 4" Superlift, Rancho 9000's, new 33" BFG TA's, Warn hubs, Gibson 3" exhaust, alarm system. If anyone is interested in taking fair value (whatever KBB says) and subtracting the $2800 I've been quoted to fix it, I would rather sell it to one of y'all as a good deal than pay to have it repaired and then go about selling it again. Don't hesitate to mail me with any questions/comments.

Nice rig! What engine you got in there?

Grasshopper,

It's got the 5.8L under the hood. No major mods to speak of, but it's tight, clean, and runs strong.

Whats the KBB value?
If you cant get what you want, would you part it out?

I've spent a lot of time looking at the pics and it looks like the rear quarter, lens and the bumper...maybe just nicked the tailgate.

Right now KBB on it is $5,960 in good condition and $5,230 in fair condition. Considering that everything else is in good shape except for the usual minor wear on an almost-decade old Bronco, I'll strike a happy medium on the condition to get $5,595.

I called my bud for an official estimate. It actually came out just a little below my estimate of $3,000. It looks like I can pay out the rear to have it repaired at a shop:

Parts $979.84
Body Labor $1,126.40
Paint Labor $330.00
Paint Supplies $165.00
Subtotal $2,601.24
Sales Tax (8.8000%) $228.91
Total $2,830.15

Or I can do it myself for right at $1,200. However, I don't have the time or desire right now so I'll strike a happy medium on that to get a $2,015.08 estimate for repairs. Obviously, I just want to sell it.

That leaves us with a grand total of $2830.15

Muddy 4x4,

I'm just waiting to see what happens, but I might part it out as a last resort. I'll keep you updated.

Chambiec1,

No damage to the frame at all...it's still straight and strong. It's gonna need a left rear quarter panel, brake-light lens, bumper, and minor tailgate work.

And here's a dumb one for you...I'll be glad to pm you when you tell me what that means. No off-topic jokes here fellas!
