At these prices, if I paid shipping to Alaska or Hawaii, I would lose money. These are deep discounts considering normal shipping within the continental US is $45-$60 in itself.

For shipping to Alaska or Hawaii, I will pay $60 of the shipping and if it does in fact cost more than that, you would only be responsible for anything over $60. If you are intersted, I will check into shipping to Alaska Monday. It might not be more than $60, we will just have to see as I have not shipped one of these tops there before. I hope this helps.

At least he is TRYING to cut you somewhat of a break! Cut the guy a little slack. It's not like i can DRIVE to HAWAII to drop something off, and the last time i was in the upper half of Canada, i didn't see a whole bunch of UPS trucks on the logging roads.

Exactly....$60 off shipping to Hawaii or Alaska is a great deal as they are air shipping only. I would simply would lose money if I paid that. The total shipping for 2-day air to alaska is $117.38 so you would be responsible for $57.38 in shipping. Everyone who is in the contiguous US, not Hawaii or Alaska get s free shipping as it is ground and i can cover that for you. I am discounting them a lot for this sale and it is for FSB members/visitors only. I guarantee you will not find a better deal.

It's pretty sad that people down there consider Alaska Oversea, and charge shipping rates that way. And Tell Us that the only way to Ship here is Air mail. Fun that I've had all my suspension parts, Tires Etc. Shipping on a boat aint it.

I bought a soft top from a guy on here 2 years ago. And it only cost like $30 Shipping. Hows that translate into $120? If I buy it brand new? I don't need the item 2 days after I order it.

I called Specialty Top Company for his shipping quote and that was the cheapest way they offered shipping to Alaska. The other was next day which was even more at like $160...
