hello, i'm going to be making some radius arm brackets when i do my SAS. i was wondering which radius arm bushing do u guys recomand? seems like alot of you went with the 78-79 style radius arm bushings. do they flex better? or easier to make brackets for?

well they fit in the 79 brackets is why I got them....also get the rubber ones since they will flex better than ploy

yeah, but the rubbers last for shit.
For 13 bucks, go to autozone, order rad bushings for a van, and you get all new washers with it. deal of the century my buddy Bill turned me onto. About 50 bucks for rubbers, no washers.

Oh, and if you have a enough fdrop on the brackets, the polys should be fine as they wont have to flex too much. Get a wristed arm too.

the reason i was thinking of reusing the TTB radius arm bushings b/c they are pretty new and are from factory.

ok, been playing around with the brackets and found out i cant reuse the TTB style radius arm bushings b/c there isnt enough threading on the radius arm, so i'll have to kinda start over.

yeah, they should be the same. Just get some 70's van bushings and those should work. If you are not in a hurry, I can check and see which ones I used in a few days when I get home.

wow, rubber for 10 bucks. Kragen doesnt even have them up here, nor does autozone. The only place that had rubber was Napa and they wanted like 50 bucks.
Thats sweet, they just dont last long. I would go buy the whole lot of them if they have more. Fawkin 10 bucks, thats great
