View Full Version : Sorry Everyone/Downtime dsotmoon 03-04-2003, 10:26 PM I'm sorry for the downtime tonight, the server we are housed on went down, I emailed the host and they responded immediately that tehy knew of the problem and were working on it, this is the longest downtime I have EVER had with them, I am seeing what they will do to prevent it from happening again, but like I said in another post it happens, even the big boys have downtime, sorry for any inconvenience :( Dustin 03-04-2003, 10:30 PM thats it Im gone, enough of this downtime crap. nah its fine dont worry about it :mrgreen: dsotmoon 03-04-2003, 10:35 PM From the host... Hi Joe, Server 14 is up now. Reason for Server Down: fsck took long time and server needed to be rebooted as one ftp process was in zombie stage and was causing high server loads. Server needed manual fsck which takes 30 min to 2 hrs sometimes to accomplish to detect and remedy errors. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for your kind cooperation.
