Will the outer axle shafts work? Calipers?

If you want to do something a bit different with the ttb arms....

Look up Badass's superford pictures. He took the out carrier and cut it making a diff cover for the 44 that is about 3x as thick

A free heavy duty cover, If you have the tools to make it happen.

what zilla said, and the outer shafts are almost identical. good enough that i made them work....
the years of calipers veried. the lastest ones 93+ will definatly not work, and some older ones will work(the ones held in by one pin at the bottom) and the middle years liike late 80's may work, but ihavent tried, but they do use a different type of retention as compared to a solid 44.

this was the arm that the 3rd member bolts to

Badass,

It looks like the drain/fill plug for the TTB is slightly lower than on the D44. Wouldn't that mean you cannot fill the diff with as much gear oil and not have as much lubrication? Not sure if it matter, just something I noticed.

bad ass is wrong, the calipers from 93 + WILL work, although they are retained by pins from factory, they also have the grooves to use them with the older style brake brackets.
