I'm between Damager and you

20 miles outside of Ottawa in a rural region. I get down to Barrie at least once a year, usually in a mini-Winnebago with a pile of beer buddies visiting East coast beer buddies who live in Barrie now.

I super tuned buddy's 5.0 Mustang last July and we repaired another buddy's sports car. The 440 Winnebago, on the other hand ran perfectly all the way there and back.

There's a lot of Broncos in Ottawa, mostly full load Eddies and those all red and all black later Broncos. I've seen several early Broncos very well restored too.

I drive mine year round, Ontario salt be damned !

p.s./
What are we supposed to be supporting ?

BTW I think we should take in Ryan as an honourary Canajian, if he wants to be annexed outta Lansing Michegan (thats where they filmed Hose-Ann Barr wasn't it ?)

p.p.s/
I saw a $h%tload of Broncos in Ogdensburg New York last week when I was down. Also the most ridiculously lifted, otherwise stock 86 RamCharger I've ever seen.

I grew up around the Belleville/Trenton area and I miss wheeling up to the mine sites up near Marmora/Madoc and Tweed. Bet it's all cordoned nowadays anyway.

Yeah I forgot about Trudeau park. Lots of friends have gone, I have yet to go.

I only really post when mines driveable. So as you can see that's 15 times in the past year or so. But then I made this one. So that's 14. And about 10 of those 14 are me looking for parts. So I guess I've actually driven it about 4 times! :clap

When are you emissions exempt in BC ?

It's 20 in Ontario, so I've had my last ever check.

Just checking out possibilities

used to live in Courtneay in 71' when all the dope suckin' hippy type pinkos were in communes starving everywhere.

Judging by the emission laws in Vancouver looks like a lot of them settled there.

I'm guessing my big ol `78 is exempt in Vancouver because thats where I bought it from and it supposedly "passed".
I dunno how though with basically open exhaust and running pig rich. Unless older vehicles get alot of slack. :shrug

I know, in Dodge at least, Canada was years behind American vehicles as far as emission controls.

I worked in a Plymouth dealership in the late 70s and as late as 1980 you could get cars without cats right from the factory. I'm guessing the government doesn't want their dirty laundry brought up in court so they may be cutting a lot of slack on those years of vehicles.
