Hi everybody, I just stumbled accross this site while looking for a Bronco to buy. I want a daily driver, but somewhat of a project. Looking to spend approx. $2000.00.

I'm not fussy about colors and stuff, but it cannot be black.

Any leads whatsoever would be appreciated.

Thanks all, BTW, nice site!

Edmonton but I'm moving to Lacombe May 30, I work in Stettler.

I'm willing to travel anywhere in Ablerta for a decent Bronco at the right price. I'll be in Grande Prairie in the next couple of weeks.

Forgot to mention, I have a decent trade if anybody's interested:
-1987 Cougar LS
-3.8l V6
-Auto
-Base Model
-Very clean, very little rust
-Approx 180,000KM

I drive this car daily from Edmonton to Stettler. Recently been hit by a large rock on the windsheild (Dumbass dumptruck), I'm hoping to replace it before I sell. Value of car with new windshield about $1500.00.

Check the BC auto trader

at trader.ca. Those fools are pulling perfectly good Broncos off the roads every day with their ridiculous emissions checks.

Take a hanky with you when you buy it so the poor British Columbian can cry on your shoulder. Rotten eco-nazi ba$turds in their self righteous imported cars !

be sure to be sympathetic to the poor ba$turd who had his perfectly good bronco pulled off the road and was forced to buy a Korean subcompact that was smelted in an unregulated asian foundry (saving the environment ALL THE WAY).

Remember that in Alberta as with British Columbia, the Bronco will have to have an "out of province"(vehicle brought in from out of the province) inspection before it can be registered in Alberta.

That's just for a safety check though (right?)

Alberta hasn't gone insane and started emission checks like BC and Ontario.

That's for safety, but the emissions must be visually there.

Unfortunately I didn't find a Bronco, but found a truck and bought it. I landed a nice 1992 F-150 EC 4x4.

Still have the Cougar for sale (it's actually a 1988).

Car is sold, but no interest here anyway.

I'm still looking for 4-6" of used lift kit pieces.

I was just at an emissions place certifying another Mopar and what should I run across but a rustfree Western Bronco, from Manitoba right here in the rust belt(Ottawa).

Looks to be an 87-91 era red on red, with a blown (up) 351. Nice later aluminum wheels, fair tires, no visible rust with an owner whose let it sit untouched for 3 years and ain't getting any richer.

I need another bronco like I need to set my wallet on fire, but it was interesting to see an 87-91 style with no rust here.

I'm actually emissions free up here in Fort Frances. I don't know where the cut-off is but I think Thunder Bay is also exempt from emissions testing. The only reason I know this is I have a 1990 Eagle Talon with turboback exhaust minus the cat and it passed inspection fine.

You lucky dog !

I'm old enough now, no more inspections

The cutoff is a lot lower down than that actually. It begins only 30 miles West/North of Ottawa, in Renfrew, and runs all the way North.

Thanks SixLiter, as I mentioned somewhere in a previous thread, I found a 1992 F-150 instead.
