Thanks fellas, I do my best to save you guys money and offer service that simply can't be beat. Glad you're both happy. There are a lot of others here at FSB that have bought these wheels recently too. They have been on sale for a month or so now but it will end May 1st when our new sales begin. I really like both styles of wheels, I'm running the Xtreme Alloy 1079's on my Rig now.

Old thread, I know, but I'm looking for a load rating on the Series 97's and haven't been able to find one yet. Chris (or anyone else, for that matter), any idea? I'd be looking at 15x8.

Thanks!
Chuck

Not an old thread, these wheels are still on sale. The load rating on the 15x8 Series 97 is 1600 lbs.

Thanks!

Thanks, that puts 'em at least a smidge higher than US Wheel, who were at 1500lb. Do you know of anyone that makes a steel wheel with a load rating a little closer to the 2000-2200 typical on decent all terrains?

Also, if I end up having to go alloy to get the load rating I'm looking for -- what's the load rating on the 1069's, same size?

Thanks for your help. I managed to get a heck of a deal on four almost-brand-new Pro Comp AT 33's from a friend stepping up to 35's -- I'm just hunting for a wheel to fit 'em. I'll be picking up one additional tire as a spare also. The tires are in good enough shape I'll be able to rotate the spare out with them as they wear.

1600 lbs on the steal wheels is pretty good. you sure wouldn't have a problem running them on a bronco. I wouldn't hesitate running them on anything for that matter.

The Xtreme Alloy 1069 15x8 has a load rating of 2100 lbs.

Thanks!

Thanks again. I probably won't be picking up the wheels and fifth tire until after I get done with my cab swap in a couple of months, but when I do I'll definitely remember your help. :thumbup
