Look at the level of participation, remember material has gone up a lot since then, and then give Boulderbronco a reasonable quantified answer. "... if the price is right" is pretty vague. I would buy another one if they were $50.00 but thats not likely is it?

Sounds good guys. But Hunter, are you aware that my kit works on the 87-96 not the 86? If you have the later AC setup (same as those years) then it should work for you. Otherwise it won't. Sorry. I appreciate the help Kevin and thanks for posting those links. I should have done that although I am not sure prices are going to be the same. A little more info from the interested people would help. Keep the responses coming.

I've done the saginaw and serpentine conversion with brackets from an 88.

Well, like I said...if the price is right i would buy it. $150 and I would definatly be in....I am not in a hurry to buy the kit since I wont be doing it right away, but if Boulderbronco can give us a deal that would make buying the kit now worth it then I would definatly do it! :thumbup

Just curios Why didnt you bid on the ones on ebay that went for $110. another went for $112.50,162.50,92.50.I got mine for under $80. from ebay.The reserve price is so much cheaper for "strangers on ebay" than for a group buy go be a stranger on ebay and save yourself some cash! I did :chili:

i was hoping on catching one on ebay but what kind off discount would the group buy get us... the kit goes for 210 normally right... i noticed that the ebay ones have been signif lower

I have never weighed it but I would say it is about 50lbs heavier than stock, without the winch of course. It mounts on the stock mounts. But there are support brackets that run from the back of the bumper mounts to the sway bar mounts. This gives it horizontal support where the bumper mounts give it vertical supports. BTW, nice job on your bumper. No room for a winch though huh?

Just keep your eyes on the vendor forum. It will likely start it in a week or so and run for 1-2 weeks.

Plenty of room for winch but no money. New wheels and tires were a bigger priority and they're on the way and college tuition is kinda important too. I really wanted one of your bumpers but this worked out just as well if not better.

onboardair.com sells the compressors and all the fittings and everything else needed for the complete install.

Got my kit on ebay for under $100, will probably sit in my garage for a while until I find a compressor and all the fixin's. I would be interested in something with the bumper though. I have been trying to save up my paypal account but things keep coming up.

Junk yards are a good place to look also. The best place is in old Volvos. eLate 70's and early 80's Fords had them also but Volvo is the best place to find one. Much better than spending $300 for a new one. You should be able to find one for around $20.
