Show some support:thumbup BikerPepe` 07-23-2003, 06:16 PM I work Sept. 14th. :( I'm using ALL my vacation and Floating Holidays to make it to Sturgis this year and I'm not getting laid off until Sept. 19th. Oh yea... RIDE a BIKE, DRIVE a RIG! :goodfinge Pony-boy 07-24-2003, 02:54 AM I believe I might come. Not sure about being in the competition though. Sounds like fun NAMELESS 08-15-2003, 12:29 PM ttt:toothless Represent FSB and show up defcon5 08-15-2003, 04:22 PM Hey NAMELESS a couple of questions for ya. I am assuming you guys are talking about monroe oregon if so it is only about an hour from me. And if I were to compete with my otherwise stock rig(6 inch lift and 35 inch tires) stock gears and everything. What would be my chances of breaking something. It is my daily driver and no spare parts. I just love mud pits. And is it a family event Also I did mapquest and I did not come up with anything. Well I think thats about it. Any other information you might have would be cool to pass along. Thanks Davids78Bronco 08-15-2003, 04:32 PM Roman(is that right? I read it from your SF page), the picture of the pickup on the flyer should give an indication of the type of vehicle that'll likely be used there. If I were you, I wouldn't take my only daily driver thru it. Take the family to watch, sure, but I sure wouldn't risk the damage to a vehicle I have no spare parts for I'm still hoping to get to the SOB next weekend, and HOPING to go watch this one on the 14th defcon5 08-15-2003, 04:43 PM Ya I guess I will go to watch then. I want to get some kind of small pickup so I don't have to worry about breaking somthing. Should be fun anyway. Thanks for the reply David. Mabye i'll run into ya there. Davids78Bronco 08-15-2003, 04:46 PM Hopefully, but considering my track record... everytime I've said I'm trying to go, I haven't been able to go. Same sob story as all the other times... broke. But Kris asked me where these places were, so I know she's trying to budget for it. I can only hope shadowcaster 08-15-2003, 11:17 PM Originally posted by defcon5 Hey NAMELESS a couple of questions for ya. You would be a competetor in the truck pull and maybe the mud bog but if its yer daily driver stay away from the rocks and O course. NAMELESS 09-10-2003, 03:43 PM Its this Sunday, whos comming? 78bronco460 09-10-2003, 11:32 PM Originally posted by NAMELESS Hey Jim, lets show them how to wheel:thumbup [/B] I'd like to do this again, but last time I only got one run at each course. After an hour or more in line for a second pass at the mud pit they pulled me out of line and said I only get one run at each course. So I got my T-shirt and left. I'm not gonna drive 450 miles ($90 in gas) and pay $30 for that little of wheelin. If I were as close as you are I'd be there for sure. Have a great time. But what ya gonna drive??? NAMELESS 09-11-2003, 07:06 PM Originally posted by 78bronco460 I'd like to do this again, but last time I only got one run at each course.
