Jon Foster 07-29-2003, 11:27 PM I'm another Michigander... The only state you can use your hand to show others where-abouts you live... Located in White Lake, about 15 minutes West of Pontiac strait out M-59 and across the road from Alpine Ski Lodge.
E-Mail: therealms@att.net
Web: http://www.largescale-trains.com (not truck related)
We're slowly getting down to one Bronco. All the trucks are finally gone but parts are all over the place. The 81 will get updated parts from the other trucks over the next month or two and hopefully a decent coat of paint if I can still remember how to shoot it. The 81 has cancer really bad but we used it almost weekly to cross fairly deep rivers while hunting. It's also been beaten pretty hard as a daily driver. On it's third engine (2 302's and 1 351) right now and showing signs of death yet again... It's getting close to 200,000 miles too. Front end needs outter u-joints and it's on it's third 9 inch rear axle. First one got ripped out pulling a stump (the stump lost), second axle cracked the pinion pilot bearing support and right side bearing cap (see what happens when tires really stick!). Third one is getting loose but still runs fine...
Now that's got to be more info than you all wanted, right?
Jon.

JHew84 09-25-2003, 04:14 AM james, lansing area, JHew84@hotmail.com
currently don't own a bronco, but if things go as planned i should be picking one up within a week or so, right now my daily is a 95 dodge dakota 4x4 with 50K original miles, and my 'project' car is a 94 probe GT (still in the ford family right? haha), its a quick lil car but i need a bogger, the dodge just aint cuttin it anymore... anyway, hopefully i'll join the club and end up buyin the 1980 4x4 i went to look at today :)...
scheki 09-25-2003, 01:10 PM Welcome all Michigander newbies to the site. I will soon add you to my mailing list.
JHew84 09-25-2003, 09:25 PM ok, i ended up buying that 1980 bronco, so now i am a full fledged member, thanks for the warm welcome and i hope to see some of you at future meets/bogs :D...
Fireguy50 09-25-2003, 10:40 PM You've probably seen me in your rear view mirror or fly'n threw an intersection and never knew it :D
JHew84 09-25-2003, 11:49 PM haha, i might've, but i tend to keep a keen eye out for the bigger trucks, i've always love'd them and always enjoy watching them tear through town, maybe you'll see me rollin around now :D
Fireguy50 09-26-2003, 03:31 AM try to keep up :goodfinge
