Some friends and I got together today for some glamour shots for the local newspaper. They wanted pics of some rigs 4whellin' for the mud bog we're putting on in Aug. So I took them all out to a field that we can barely farm cause it's always wet. I got my bronco buried right of the bat, my buddy has a '78 Chevy short box with 44's Swampers he couldn't pull me out, so luckily Jeremiah (The Yak) was there so he went and got his bronco with the winch and got he out, we played around for about 4 hrs, I don't know how many times I pulled a chebby out of a mud hole. The guy with the 44's blows his front drivline out and just buries his rig, about 2 hrs later we got him out, then dared him to drive across this small pond, he makes it twice but the third time he got too far over and got stuck, Jeremiah winched him out. We got some video footage and a lot of pics, but unfortunatly I don't have them. I'll try and get them and post them on my super ford site. Or maybe Jeremiah will post them here. But the good news is my old man wants to build a mud pit in this field and charge people $20 a day to go play in it.

don't forget the waivers from those ppl

theres a guy here who used to have a mud pit and people kept bitching at him cuz they broke their truck in there ( :roll: ) so he said no more

We're going back out this weekend, but I'm parking a tractor there with about 200 ft of chain so Jeremiah doesn't have to waste his time trying to winch people out. If it does come to be, It'll be a select few that do get to play there. It's also a secluded spot, you have to drive through another field to get there so I can just lock the gate to keep people out.

I see how it is...wait til Big Mike is recovery from his surgery and can't drink beer cause the pain meds and can't drive and ....what was I saying...cool...is there a FSB discount? I would seriously at least post a sign that states "wheel at your own risk, not responsible for damages!"

Sorry Mike, maybe next weekend. There's no need for a sign, if they get stuck and break something and start bitching to me, then they're rig will stay were it's at, and they WILL get stuck. Besides I'm only leting a a select few in.
