guess not :shrug :beer
the exterior hole measurements wre right, but the inner panel hole was not right, I had to feel, guess, and drill blindly. It wasn't hard, got both sides right 1st try

I'll be getting the black door handles then I only need to get black door locks to have the Night look :thumbup

Steve you got black door locks? like a set of 3 with a matched glove box lock cylinder? :shrug
I'm also interested in a perfect cruise / horn trim for my '86 steering wheel. the wood look is fading and its craked in the corner. I want a new one! :beer

NICE.... I painted my mirrors with the famous textured spray paint but I like yours better, problem is I got to replace mine with power, becuase I am not gonna downgrade becuase of a color change. I have ford part numbers for the door handles:

F3TZ1522404A
F3TZ1522405A

Those fit a 92-96, but I think they are the same as yours, we retail them from ford for $59.24 each, I don't know what Fords retail is, but on another thread our retail price was cheaper then ford but with shipping you are probably better off going through ford.

I just had our local glass guys in the store, and they took off my windshield moling in about a minute wth a special tool they have and I took it home and textured that black.

Last I checked with ford the black locks were discontinued and unavailable. I was thinking of painting them, right now the handles the locks and the wheels are the only chrome I got left. And very soon I got my eye on the black simulated beadlock rims. And I am going to black out the center caps becuase for some reason the come chrome, with brake caliper paint to withstand any heat.

Awesome truck Fireguy, one day, I may pick your brains on how to get more from my '93 5.8, but right now I am am in the looks fase of development

Grab the mouse in your right hand, click the scroll bar at the left, drag that bar up untill you see a user named Steve83. After the post by this user will be a superford.org web site address. This is called a URL, if you hover the arrow over the link and click the left button on the mouse his site will pop up like magic. In this new magic window will be several files of pictures. Look at the file called Spare Parts

Are your new mirrors manual or power mirrors?
I know someone who installed chrome front ones on his 1975 F-250 4x4 camper special crewcab converted to 4 wheel drive. D44/10.25.

If is power I don't see where you put the controls.

Edit: I know the one in Superford is power, I actually thought you couldnt put the control on the inside of the door.

Steve83 has the chromed power mirrors
I got the black manual mirrors.

I really want to install a set of Issus Trooper mirrors
Power adjustable / Heated / and Power fold
trickest mirrors I've ecer seen.
I'd hook them up to a speed sensor, so when I go over 80 the mirrors fold in :thumbup
Not for function, but it would be really slick looking :thumbup :thumbup :thumbup
Smash the pedal, the truck downshifts and the mirrors fold in, how cool is that. Just like the europen cars with power spoiler :thumbup
Gives me a stiffy just think'n about it. The wiring job would kill me though :(

Well that would be cool, except what if you want to change lanes at 80mph?

I think they would be great for wheeling though. I have been toying with the idea of making my mirrors heated, I just need to find a spare one and crack it open, I was thinging of sticking a 12 coffee cup warmer inside the mirror some how.

Paint doesn't stick to that aluminum very well, but I have a set of factory powdercoated black windshield trim off the '96 that still looks great! ;) Ship me your black mirror fronts & chrome w/s trim, and I'll ship chrome mirror fronts & black w/s trim to you! :thumbup

I can also get more parts powdercoated in a variety of colors. :D
