bob, no I sadly don't have anything like that laying around. as a general rule I like motherboards with as little integrated as possible.

as far as computer #3 I was looking ~$100

biohazard

biggest problem shipping to canada is going to be the duties on it. might not be worth it for you especially.

sold a computer to a guy right across the river from detroit in windsor. f'n gov't made him pay $300 in addition to the $200 I charged him.

Canadian Bronco

If you are wanting to play games don't get a TNT 2.

GF4 TI4600, or Radeon 9700. IF that is to much, try radeon 9000, or GF4 ti4400, or GF3 ti500

9500 pro plays like it's big bro the 9700 pro. and now the 9800 pro is going to make the lower cards drop prices.

1982: I'd say around $150 each.

prices are getting lower cuz I really don't want to drag these things to chicago with me.

allcrusin: still got 2 samsungs here, along with a BIG 21" sony trinitron I don't need or want to take with me on the move.

#1
Athlon 700mhz (slot tbird style)
256mb ram
40gb hard drive
24x cdburner
64mb geforce 2 mx 400
4.1 sound
floppy
10/100
56k

#4 (mr. laserboy might be buying this one)
Pentium III 600eb (133mhz fsb socket 370)
30gb hard drive
256mb ram
24x cdrw
64mb geforce 3 ti 200
floppy
10/100
56k

what are the differences in them? sorry for the questions but i need to justify spendin the cash on one of those or my bronco. they basicly seen to be the same to me accept the hd and the CPU.

EDIT: how many mhz is this"Pentium III 600eb (133mhz fsb socket 370)"?

biohazard
03-20-2003, 08:08 PM
it's 600mhz. the 'e' denotes the revision of a coppermine class PIII (256k of cache at full speed as opposed to 512k of cache at half speed) while the 'b' denotes the front side bus of 133mhz

the PIII system has a better video card, smaller hard drive, and onboard sound. the Athlon system has a faster cpu, bigger hard drive, and a surround sound sound card.

biohazard

a year, if that. I just got it repaired under warranty from sony 2 weeks ago, so it's certified by sony in tip top shape.

I notieced this post was a little old. I was just wondering if there were still any of these computers left...or monitors for that matter. I would definitely buy at least one...maybe more.

Thanks!

Computers are cheap on ebay... You guys might wanna try it out. Bio - try selling them on there? I got a 1.6 gig P3 (if i remeber right) for $400. Oh yea it was brand new. I can run all the games that I like to play on it nicly. I upgraded the video card but it slips my mind what one it is....

I build computers and can get a lot of stuff wholesale, so the price isn't that much of a deal, but I was just curious and figured what the heck.

Also, you guys can check out www.pricewatch.com for lots of componets, systems and peripherals.

Any relation to Willma Shatner?
"CompGeeks" is another place for some good PC stuff deals. Just FYI.
