Just curious what everyone pays for their Bronco insurance, and who they're with. I know there are provincial insurers, as I'm originally from MB. Anyone have opinions on who the best carriers are for private?

Not sure. I pay about $500 a year for basic PLPD with Meloche Monnix. Thats half of what I was paying with State Farm. I got a pretty good group discount having graduated from University of New Brunswick. Rates are pretty high here in the Maritimes.

I pay $86 a month for mine, Liability only. Sucks knowing if it's my fault I gotta pay but I dont plan on wrecking it. That's until my insurance finds out I've had 3 speeding tickets in the last 4 years then I'll probably be :ban

I am now paying $160 a month for mine, liability and comprehensive but no collision. Thats my new rate, I was paying $180 just liability till july, so I am :twotu: now, well all things considered anyway. Oh and I am in Ontario.

Currently about 50 bucks a month for Liability on the 89' Closer to 100 a month for the 72' EB.

Multi Car discounts and a Kick ass Farmers agent make it happen. Some would cry when they see my complete monthly insurance payment, easily rivals many monthly car payments.

I pay about $1200 per year per vehicle; 15+ years experience, no recent claims, deepest discount possible. Basic is through ICBC (only because I have no other choice), and the rest is through private. I get my private from Westminster Savings, which I believe is Sovereign Insurance. I've had claims with both private and ICBC, and private is WAY better! They actually treated me like a customer. ICBC's motto is "guilty until you hire a lawyer and prove yourself otherwise, then we'll just call it 50/50" :banghead

Ya Pay about the same through ICBC . 1250$ or so. Never had a problem with ICBC, got all the discounts so its about the same as private.

I would pay more for private if I had to, as ICBC is unaware of what customer service is. In my dealings with ICBC, I've been screwed every time. In my dealings with my private insurer, they've treated me very fairly and with respect. If basic wasn't manditory through ICBC, they would be in trouble.

i'm paying $73 a month for full coverage on my bronco, collision, comprehensive, liability, full rental car reimbursement, plus my insurance lady knows that i'm running a modified vehicle and apprasied it higher then book value

this is through wawanesa, but my insurance broker is from a very very very small town and they kick ass

totally bend over backwards for me. i've been insured with them for 5 yrs now and she never asks for an updated drivers abstract, and my last truck was a 91 and only had to give one safety inspection on it five yrs ago

guess i'm spoiled

Oh I love ICBC. $1250/year for full coverage with 5 million liability, and I have a flawless record (never an accident & no tickets).

I should be PAID to be on the road. :santa
