Got some connections with a Really Good bunch of wheelers out here at FIBC but would love to see more broncs

Ya Some of them are like that... But don't let that ruin it... I'm not into the drinking and smokin' myself and I find the majority can and do control themselves. A lot of our events are family based aimed at the kids.... We just don't exclude people because they like to get stupid


FIBC's a good bunch of people... with a few nutcases thrown in for good measure! :twotu:

I got the wife and 5 yep five kids..... We go out whenever we can but I've found that most groups have at least a couple of power drinkers and quite a few "smokers" I don't agree with it myself but.... it's there. When there are "Family" events... the "vices' are kept to a minimum as much as possible. There's always someone though :wacko

FYI, it's there because of the "groups" that you are with.

The "groups" that I wheel with, well, a few may nurse a beer or two, but they keep it low key. No posing for the camera with the beer in full view etc. You can't even tell that they are drinking; not that I agree with that, but I appreciate the fact that they keep it low key. I used to do the same, but I have grown up and try to keep my illegal activities to a minimum. :duh

And if there are kids present; the hammer comes down. No drinking/smoking period. If someone chooses to do so, have a nice ride home by yourself! These kids are our future. If their guardians can't set a good example, well, I feel very sorry for the kids; nice future they have to look forward to. :rolleyes:

As noted in another thread... I tend to write the way I speak... unfortunatly it's hard to "READ" the pauses....

I don't drink myself and I don't like to see it on the trail. I get a laugh out of people that bitch out others for drinking and driving yet think nothing of doing exactly that on a logging road. You're right our kids are our future and we must protect them. I don't have a problem with people cracking a couple around a campfire when the wheelin's done.
