So I walked into the Ford dealer body shop and asked if they can get a core support for me. I was getting prices from other places of $225 to $240, so I figured that the dealer would be right there if not a little more. Its the dealer right? So I tell the guy what I want and he says that he cant get one, and if I really need one all he's gonna do is call CarQuest anyways. So I asked him if he could do me that favour and that I would really appreciate it. He calls and gets a dealer price of $140. Then he tells me that since he is doing me a favour, and because I look like I really need it (I do) that he will only mark it up 20% instead of the usual 30%. So, total price comes to just a little over $170.

Doesnt it make your day when you get a nice surprise that saves you money?
