I thought i would throw this out to some people that have a 3in body lift but also want a winch bumper. I bought my bumper and did some work and got some pieces fabricated onto the existing brackets. Now, this only applies to the 91 and eariler broncos because they don't have the crumple zone.

This is a picture of the bracket after it has been modified. The redline shows how much was added on.

The extra 2 holes were lazer cut. I had the have an extra left over if i felt i needed more bolts later on.

Here it is mounted up.

Here i got it pretty clost to touching and was satisified with it compared to what my stock bumper was like.

here in this picture you can see on the other frame rail beside me missing a washer, that I had the metal over another hole farther back incase i choose to add another bolt there.

Then here it is mated with its 12k winch. As a testimonial, I have had no problem with the brackets or bumper even doing full winch pulls. I did find out that i had not had the bolts tight enough so that it slid down about 1/2in. That can easily be readjusted.

If you choose to do something like this, I did it this way. I took the stock bracket and bolted the bottom hole with the top framerail hole to see where i needed to add. Jumping up the framrail hole is about 2 or so inches. Since the bracket is also able to slide up i slid it up to where I mocked the bumper to be touching the grille and also level. Then i took a piece of cardboard and cutout a template of what i wanted added to it along with where the whole showed be and how wide and long and such. Then i brought that template and the brackets to a metal shop and for $80 i got these set up real good.
If there is any confusion which i know there will be I will try to answer them the best I can. :thumbup
