View Full Version : i need an ac compressor BuckN 08-12-2003, 07:25 PM i need help locating an ac compressor for my 85 bronco 351W:confused: Blaze 08-12-2003, 08:41 PM Dude, I'm posting this here (not as much traffic and I'm not trying to imbaress you) But a little advice on posting: There's certian boards that just about everyone on here reads, and then theres specific boards that only the people it applies to read. Example: 78&79 Bronco forum and the 80-96 Bronco forum are pretty much just read by the guys that own them. The chapter boards such as this one (Dixie Chapter) are read by the people who live in those areas. The test forum is for people testing out there codes. On the other hand General repair, Tech help, Emergency help, FOTM, Introductions, Ford parts for sale, Anything else for sale, Gineral chit-chat/Pic post, and the Anything else forums are pretty much read by all. Soo back to the point, When ya wanna post something pick the board that it applies to, and that'll get the traffic ya want and wait for a reply. The only thing you'll do by posting multiple posts (unless it's very important that all see) is be a nusience to people and they'll start ignoring you. Example: This AC thing shoulda been posted in 80-96, or Parts and accesories for sale with "wanted" in the title, and then just wait for your reply. Not trying to be an ass just trying to help out. A guy posted about an AC compressor right before you did and he already has an answer from someone who has one. Where as you posted and people go jeez what a moron and tell you to go look on e-bay. Now, I for one am new to this bullitenboard thing so I understand, but some of these folks have been around and known each other for ages. So just a lil advice. I know you don't mean any harm but in a forum (no pun intended) where you rely on text to convey feelings, emotions, and facial expression, you realy gotta sound like you got your shit together or you'll just be looked apoun as a dipshit, and ignored. I don't mean that to sound like you'll be looked down on for lack of knowledge, cause thats what we're here for and this is a realy good resourse with some great guys. But there is a difference in being uneducated about something and just being an idiot. (you know what I mean) Again, not saying you are, just reminding you it's all about impresions. If theres anything I can help ya with lemme know. Just click the PM (personal message) button in my sig line (sig=signiture) and type me out a message and I'll get back to ya. Welcome to the club, and welcome to the Dixie Chapter!!:beer I look forward to wheelin' with ya on one of our Dixie runs! :rebelflag P.S. don't get frustrated just browse around, see how things work!:thumbup BuckN 08-13-2003, 04:26 AM I apologize for all the re-posts y'all, Im still a "forum noob"! :beer |
