Wow...I went to the Michigan Works site today and found a bunch of factories in the area hiring! Some of them needed between 10 and 30 new people. I mean, full time, paid holidays, vac. sick pay, medical, dental, optical and 401K :thumbup And they have all shifts available as well. I am so going to their office Monday and get my info in there so I can get me a job! After a couple months of steady work...I should have enough $$ put up for our own place!

Who pays the fee?

There are no fees that I know of...I got my last job through them. A LOT of companies only go through MI Works. They are more of a temp job service...but the majority or companies hire full time after 60 days or so. You go in and fill out the applications there. They will even let you know of any jobs available that you are qualified to work as well as help assist with training ect...if their budget allows it. :thumbup
They paid for like 99% of my tools (calipers, mic's etc) for my last job.
