MyFullSize 09-28-2005, 07:56 PM That, my son, is a damn fine welder! I ran a newer model 250 doing structrual steel... Miller makes sone fine boxes! :thumbup
Though, I also used some BIG Lincoln boxes with spray transfer, VERY VERY HOT. They worked like champs too!
PowerB 09-28-2005, 11:23 PM Very nice. I wish i had a welder at my disposal. i always have to go down the damn street if i need anything done
MyFullSize 09-28-2005, 11:50 PM All I got is a damn old Sears buzz box... But its 225 amps! :goodfinge

Hey, I wouldn't go knocking the buzz box. I've got the venerable Lincoln AC 225 and I have probably welded a mile of bead with that cheap thing. Probably the best welder you can buy for the money. Of course if money were no object, yeah, I'd have a Miller 250 too. One day...

Oh, beleive me, IM NOT! This is the best and most reliable welder Ive ever had! And, I can weld 1/2" SINGLE PASS, EASILY! :goodfinge
Try that with your 110V flux core POS welder! :goodfinge

broncoheaven 10-18-2005, 09:28 PM Nice welder for a shop. I use a Miller Air Pack at work. Can run a 1/4 inch stick all day with no problem. Miller's are awesome.
