Here's hoping somebody has dealt with this issue previously... I recently bought a trailer. On my way home towing it home, my turn signals and brake signals died. I troubleshot it down to the turn signal multi-function switch. When I was getting the part number from Ford, they had it listed as "non-tow package". However, there is no listing for a multi-function switch with a tow package function. There is for an Aerostar van. I physically compaired the two switches and they look similar, except the Aerostar has one extra pin - with still fits my Bronco.

My Bronco has the factory tow package. Does anybody know if there is a different multi-function turn switch if you have a tow package?

After speaking to the Ford parts department again, I was assured there is no multi-function switch specifically designed for a tow package. The rep even stated he had friends who tow with Broncos and they never had to look for such a multi-function switch.

So I replaced my turn signal switch with the "non-tow package" model. I have towed my trailer once with no problems. Hopefully, this problem is closed.
