well where do u guys go for "local wheeling"? I usually go to the C&D Canal in deleware, right outside of New Castle. It's about a half hour from my place, off 95. Pine barrens were cool but all that sand and really deep water played hell with my brakes n susp. Not sayin i wouldn't do it again. I've been up round the airport but that's not really my kind of scene. Lots a bling bling ridin round on there 4wheelers doin 80 wit no helmet. Urban wheelin if u know what i mean.

yeah i wouldn't do the airport again after almost taking some atvers out on my way to work. C&D sounds like a good starting point. ya said there was a lot mud there right?? for some reason thats what i've been looking for this summer last summer i wanted rocks now mud.

Rep, it takes about an hour to get to Englishtown and about 20 mins. to get down to the C&D, so it's about an hour and a half all together.

C&D gets pretty muddy, especially with all the rain we've been having. Basically, it's just access roads on either side of the canal that we run around on - they're not sandy, more gravely than anything. No major hills or rocks, just good and dirty fun.

Similarly, Steve and I were talking last night and thought maybe we could do a night out to just chill and hang and :beer without being in the woods. We know Matt does some of his shows at his local Hooters and tossed around the idea of getting together at Hooters one night and just drinking quite a bit. Thought I'd propose that as well as see if you guys were up for it.

steve works on saturdays - every saturday at 630am .... while i'd be down because i'm lucky enough to have weekends off, i'm not sure if maybe saturday night would be better ....

Hooters runs from about 4pm until 9:30-10ish, its work for me, but I know I will be drinking, sometimes we stick around after we clean up, but usually I am too tired, my day starts early on Hooters day

as far as wheeling - did we decide on saturday? not too sure ... all along route 301/13, which is what steve and i normally take, across from the New Castle County Airport, there's restaurants and shops ... like IHOP and Denny's and stuff. We could meet at one of those if you guys want ... they're all on the main drag so they're real easy to spot

Yeah it's gonna be a hell of a commute for me, but like I said the money is better, I will get a driver to use so no extra miles on the truck, and probably look for either a Mustang or an Eldorado as a second car anyhow.

In case I didn't mention it, my friend is hopefully opening up a car lot, and wants me to run all the ebay sales, so technically i could work from home, but I would rather be there, cause fun and strange things seem to happen at used car lots everyday

yo d. don't u have 2 bronc's? These trails can be wheeled with a stock bronc definitely. Not really any danger of breakage. Hopefully it'll rain a lot n fill up some of them deep mudholes. (sidenote- my 300th post:rockon) most of the trails are fireroads but they really get sloppy when it rains, there's also plenty of places to play. some hills to climb if yall don't mind a few scratches. Haven't been back there in at least 3 months so don't know how grown in it is.

new castle farmer's market sounds good .... though the lot for that will be huge and full, especially on a holiday weekend .... my suggestion would be meeting in the Pizza Hut parking lot ... it's connected to the farmer's market area but there will be less people and less cars parked there and the Pizza Hut is right on Route 301, can't miss it...

Continue straight (about three or four miles down) on Route 13/301 S until you see
The New Castle County Airport & a restaurant (called the Air Transport Command) with planes and other vehicles sitting in the front on your right - the Farmer's Market and Pizza Hut is right across the street from that .....

Edit: Don't quote me on that exit NUMBER - Yahoo verified that for me, but it doesn't sound right -- however, it is Dupont Parkway/Route 13 towards Dover, so just look for that

welp after this morning i officailly have no front end the only thing left on is the traction beams and the driver side knuckle. got the ball joints pressed in and bearings repacked and axle cut out. if only i could magically get my parts at like 6 or 7 tomorrow morning i could get this thing togather in 2-3 hrs.
