I am a relatively new member (Apr '05) looking to add a performance exhaust to my '88 302 before I install a K&N FIPK intake. I have been searching FSB for opinions on performance exhaust prior to deciding to purchase.

I believe that I would like to install the Flowmaster 40 Series, but I have never owned a Flowmaster before. So, I would first like to hear a Bronco with a Flowmaster installed.:whiteflag

If anyone in the Atlanta area has a Flowmaster exhaust on their FSB, and would not mind showing it off, please reply so that I could possibly set up a time to hear it in person.

Not only would it help reassure me that I am making the right choice, but could save me from having to purchase another exhaust ($225-$250). And, I would get the opportunity to meet other Dixie members in the area.

Thanks for your willingness to help out a newbie on the initial stage of a long process build-up.

I'm in Marietta.

I've got a single Flowmaster 40 series on my 351 in the '89 and I've got dual delta flow Flowmaster 40s on the 429 in my '78.

I'd be glad to meet you sometime and let you hear it.

BroncoBabe,

Thanks for your offer. Your '89 has the exact exhaust I would like to check out. :rockon

I live in the Sandy Springs area. Just let me know when you have some down time during an upcoming weekend and I will meet you wherever you would like. I do not have internet access away from work, so I would prefer to set up a meet time/place ahead of time.

Just let me know.

Brian

Gacknar,

My '88 has a stock 302 A4OD with single exhaust. Actually, everything is still stock at this point... but not for long.

By the way, what type of suspension lift do you have?

MEET AND GREET

I dunno Jerm...I'm kinda burnout on them with the lack of interest lately. Plus I'm having surgery soon and don't know what kinda shape I'm gonna be in. It'll have to be just before Thanksgiving if we do, do one...after that I'll be working every weekend doing the carriage thing.

Brian, I'll shoot you a PM about a time and place.

edit - ok in my PM to Brian, I said maybe we could have a small M&G Friday evening the 14th.
