Hey wasup. Have you checked the alaska4x4network.com They are planning a trip out to the glacier next weekend. I think I am going to tag along out there.

Edit: I just saw your Bronco on base today near the shopette. I was driving the blue one.

You Better Tag Alone Slim, Or I will kick your ass :) hehe.. Ya I'm going Alone too. One last chance to get out and wheel. I'll be in my Street Queen/Winter wheeler though.

Once the snow flys I'll be pullin out the snow machines! And starting to work on the Busted 85.

No it is the weekend of the 29th. I think a whole bunch of people will be going on this. Maybe we could break away from the rest of the group and do just a Bronco run. Hey I meant to ask. Are you the guy who broke the radius arm at the Hobby Shop? I was talking with sombody there a few months back. They broke their radius arm so they bought a new lift kit. I was just wondering if you were that same person. Your Bronco kinda looks like his did. I cant remember the exact color of it. Anyway nice Bronco. Good choice for tires. I am really happy with mine.

Well went to the doc and he said I got Mono(sp) WTF is up with that! Oh well he says that it can't be spread through the air. So everyone else is ok.. I'm assuming noone will get sick since he said it was ok for me to go to work. He even gave me some Steroids(I hope I don't get pickd for a random drug test).

Anyways. I will be meeting everyone out and the parking lot at Knik. If we pass you guys at the gas station I'll stop in. But I plan to meet a couple buddies at 9-9:30 out there. I'm not sure what group you guys plan to run with as they are trying to split the groups up into more 2 or more groups. I guess 30 trucks is way to much for a river bed that is over a mile wide :)

My group will have atleast a Fullsize Jimmy on 36 TSLs, 1 ton LandCruiser on 38 TSLs, and my lifted Bronco on 35 BFGs This is the normal group I've run with this sumer. Very good group of guys to run with. Anyways. Would be great if you all ran with us. Will be nice to follow some fullsize Broncos for a change :)

See ya tere guys.

Yea it was alright. I broke my shit out at the glacier. The shim blocks under the axle broke and then the axle twisted up causing my yoke to grenade itself. I had to drive all the way back in front wheel drive. That really sucks. Oh well before that I was having a blast.

kodiak

damn.......that sucks. I'm pretty sure I still have one of my old shims. let me know if you need it and I'll see if I can't find it.

Man what a kick ass trip that was.. Man I havn't had that much fun in a long time.. Me and Mike(Guy with the Jimmy) Decided to race back to the beaver ponds. normal 90 Min. Or so trip we did in about 30 mins. We pushed our trucks hard almost coming in contact a couple times. And I almost went end over end once :) When I almost almost missed about a 4' drop off at 40.

Sorry I ditched ya When ya spit the blocks Slim, But there where more then enough people to help out. And my girlfreind would have cut off my favorite orgin if I crawled under your Bronco to wrench. Glad to hear you got out ok, with no major issues.

If you need some shim blocks I think I have a spare set you can use. I will check to see if I still have the ones I spit out. They just need the spring pin drilled out. It busted inside the block.

Will post pictures this afternoon.

Its cool I am going to get some steel blocks that shouldnt break. I had a blast screwing around on the hills out there. That is just a shitty place to break. Being 20 miles from the highway. But I was prepared to stay out there with it. I would of had my buddy running and getting me parts with his quad. Oh well it is better to have that happen instead of shitting a t-case. At least I still had front wheel drive. I couldnt get back over the hills without winching up them. The whole way back I was worried that I would break somthing stupid in the front end and be royally screwed.
