Just a heads up what has happened the last couple of days that needs to be addressed so everyone knows.
Suspensions
MiKe2 - suspended for 30 days from FSB for very disrespectful posts and PM's towards moderators, he was asked to retract or face a suspension, he indicated he didnt give a "****", since that the case he has 30 days to decide and he can come back or not
chambiec1 - suspended for 30 days for a disregard to members and moderators who have spent their time trying to help him out, show him the light if you will, and also for a disregard to many, many threads and posts that he had no business trying to be a part of resulting in all hell breaking lose, he has been giving chance after chance but we never took action, this is his last chance
As for suspensions, its not something we like to do or do alot but when something gets out of hand we will, there is no vendetta(sp) from MODS torwards any members, an administrator is the only one who can push the big red ban button and ultimately the decision falls upon me, so anyone who would like to discuss this is free to PM me
Recent threads/posts/deletions/edits etc
Every now and then it comes up that a post is being deleted or edited by a MOD or Admin that causes this big unneeded controversy, we do NOT just go around and edit/delete posts for the hell of it but if something gets out of hand or gets vulgar/offensive then we may step in, if you visit many other large forums on a regular basis you will see our "free speech" philosophy here at FSB is way more generous than many others.
There are basically 2 forums that we would like to keep clean of "chit chat", the General Repair & Tech Help & Tech Write Ups - Installsforums, these forums are there for information and discussion of the topic at hand, I just ask that you please moderate yourselves and help keep these threads clean or your thread may be edited or deleted
Having said all that...
Please feel free to PM me or any other MOD or admin if you need to address anything in this post. Also, please remember its hard to balance all that goes on here during a day, there is no pleasing everyone but each one of us do our best to do what we can.
