Hello all,

I finaly found a descent plan for a sheet metal break. I would be happy to share it with you all but I dont know how to post it. It is very similar to this one

I also have a plan for a tubing bender like the one that is allways posted on ebay..

Well I started to build the bending break today. I almost have all the peices cut.
I will post pics as soon as its done. :toothless

I also started to make my own 1.5" tubing bender dies. Here is what I have machined so far

Yah free plans for usefull shop tools are hard to come by, I am still looking for a decent bead roller plan or detailed info, and if I find anything I will be sure to share that as well.

Bronco Guy, It looks like you do some pretty nice machining there... If you would, how much $$ would it cost to make 3 of those 1-1/2" dies at a 6"-8" diameter? What about 2" dies at approximately the same diameter?

Thank you, Cant wait to start working on them again.

Why so small or are you building a roller? the smallest RADIUS die I have ever seen was 5" but it was for .120 wall tubing. But what ever you want is what you shall recieve.

Cost for them is as follows. Either supply me with the materials or pay what ever the materials cost me. The labour is $75.00 per die Canadian plus shipping.

Probably not worht it b/c of the shipping, unless your live in Canada.

Here you guys go! I looked over them quickly, the bender plans are the same ones that Pro Tools gives away on their web site, with the exception of somebody adding a bunch of links to other plans at the end.

The sheet metal break has no copyright marks/declaration and no author to the PDF, so I guess it is fair game as well. I will leave the file hosted indefinitely as long as the bandwidth does not get out of hand, or the original author does not tell me to remove it.
