Well heres the pics I did take from Cromers ridge. The guy in the Mud covered Jeep was having a really bad day. When I first saw him he was changing a flat and then while he was in the hole his right front slipped off the wheel, and the right rear wheel was spinning inside the tire was kinda comical watching the little zukie tring to pull it out alone. Befor the other Jeep joined in the retreaval. All the zuke did was start to pull itself down into the hole. Unfortuinately I didn't get many pics being my first time out there. Was exsploring too much. I also notied that most of the trails are better suited to smaller trucks. BTW.I just noticed your avatar!Nice.... rasonjason92 11-29-2005, 10:35 PM Depending on when it is I'll try to make it. Sounds like alot of fun. I've been wanting to go down there just not alone. The Centi is a big truck to try to get out by myself. BigBroncoXLT 11-30-2005, 12:33 AM I wouldnt advise wheelin a long truck at WITC..My buddy tried it with his suburban and the results were him playing in the mud holes cause he couldnt turn corners without rubbing paint. Then he sucked in water..resulting in a new engine. It wasnt pretty. graytshirt 11-30-2005, 01:21 AM Grey Shirt the pics are few and they are pending but if you can wait I will get them posted. Nemesis I have mud in my blood gears in my guts and rocks in my head. :toothless :beer :rockon What kind of mods have you done to your rig? What level would you say the trails at Cromers Ridge are? Those pics are pretty nice. Nemesis 11-30-2005, 04:32 PM Well Lets see. As far as lift there is none its still stock hight. I did put new superwinch Manual hubs on it. A new set of BFG 32" x 11.50" x 15's M/T's. I did cut the plastic trim off the front bumper. Installed my Cobra Classic 40 channel CB radio. Also installed a flowmaster 40 series Muffler & a new oil pan.The last Mod was a set of Vent Visor Rain guards, the off Road versions there twice as wide as the normal size rain guards. Next summers mods will include a Sky Jacker 6" soft ride lift system. With new rear springs, new A arms no blocks or drop brackets its priced at $2,200.00 installed. Then a new set of 35" x 12.50" x 15's on new 15" x 10" Ultra rims. Priced at about $1,600.00 bucks for a set of 5. Also going to see about getting new bumpers made. As far as Cromers ridge went I stayed off the trails cause I was up there alone for the most part. those holes in the pics are on the main trail. I did bottem out several times and I did dammage one of my factory fiberglass steps. Most of the trails are extreamely narrow for a fullsize to fit down. Everyone says that the better holes are down near the river. But I want to get my lift before I go down there and I want a few other rigs with me. What road is it on? Thanks for the tip:drinkbud , can you give me directions from downtown Louisville. 88 XLT & 95 EB 12-10-2005, 10:55 PM I don't have exact directions, but if you know where the Jefferson-Oldham County line is on KY-22, heading towards Crestwood, it is literally, 30 seconds past the Jefferson County line, on the right. Or if you know where the Ford Truck plant is, you can go through Pewee Valley and go through Crestwood and come to it from the other direction. Also, if you are able to find it, there is a very large white house on the side of the lake (past it if you are coming from the Jefferson County line, right before it from the other way) that has a Blue Bronco sitting in front of it. Next to that house, there is a gravel road that goes down behind that house. If you follow it straight, you will come to an end where there is a mud road on the left, turn on it and you will see the entrance to go down into the lake. I know that is hard to understand, I hope it helps. If not, try asking some friends who know the area. It isn't a huge lake bottom and hardly anyone is ever there because all the locals have been told to stay out (but technically, no one owns the land, so all the cops can do is ask you to leave IF they manage to see you), but if the weather is right, it can get VERY muddy, enough to where my friend got his 78 F-150 half way up the doors. It isn't too bad, sorry I couldn't help more. graytshirt 12-11-2005, 02:13 AM I don't have exact directions, but if you know where the Jefferson-Oldham County line is on KY-22, heading towards Crestwood, it is literally, 30 seconds past the Jefferson County line, on the right.
