I am getting ready to do a SAS and I am using a D44 out of a '79 F150. Do I get a pitman arm for my '95 Bronco or for the '79 axle? Also, where is a good place to get one at a good price?

NOBS!

Im buying it next payday $300. That is what they seem to go for up here. Ive called all the junkyards.ive got springs and radius arms already. I want to completly rebuild my axle when I buy it.So I have to start buying gears and stuff.how much do they charge over on Ft Rich at the auto shop for the stall? I think it is like $32 dollars a day here.

It doesn't cost that much. The only thing you have to pay for is bench time and the use of stuff like the press and other specialty tools. I have already got mine done. It has 4:88 gears ARB locker. The only things I could reuse was the tube, and knuckles everything else is new. The auto shop will not do it for you, but they will help you. I think it's better that way. The guys there are real cool. The shop is only open Thurs-Sun. Thurs and Fri they open at noon and close at 9. On Sat, Sun they open at 10 and close at 7.

the 130s are major pos's. i do a lot of crew transport for them and they are always breaking. sometimes i think it's the crewmembers messing w/ shiet they shouldn't mess with.

Hey,Hey,Hey why is everybody raggin on Herk? Being a POS, I guess you dont move to many pac's to the C-5's. Anyway it is a good airplane and there is not another one that USAF has that can do the stuff it has done. Sure they got the C-17 but wait till they lose one to ememy fire. Besides it cant land on the radar site runways like the 130 can. Oh well ive said my piece. Besides this is a pitman arm post. SLIM
