Hi yall

I was wondering if anybody has ever done a leaf spring swap in the front of a 78-9 bronco? I've got a 78 that, after putting 9" coils and the radius drop bracket on, I have absoutly NO flex up front. I know it's because of the bushings, and if I put a 60 up front, I'll be forced to go to leafs anyway. I've scoured every junk yard around here in hopes of finding a 3/4 or 1 ton high boy, all with no luck. Does anybody know of a kit to buy, or perferably somebody that's done the swap and knows more about it than I. My email is dfarris@jetengine.com THANKS!

search the solid axle swap forum. there is a sticky on leaf swaps. i know muddinmike did a leaf swap w/60 on a 79, using rear leafs. there are also lots of threads on using a 60 w/coils, as well as how to get more flex w/radius arms

When I was going to do my SAS before I sold my Bronco, I was going to use Super Duty front springs. You can set the ride height with the spring hangers and shackles.
