Help! So I got this great deal on a Ryobi 14" chop saw last week. Well it was free so for me that is the best price. Anyway the handle is broken and I am having a devil of a time finding replacement parts for it. It is a Ryobi C356 14" chop saw and the handle part numbers are, 6081678 and 6830230. Does anyone know of someone with a busted (besides me) Ryobi chop saw that might want to sell the handles? I called the Ryobi parts supplier and they estimated that it would take 35-55 days to get the parts.
I am going to attempt to glue the parts back together but I never have had much luck with gluing plastic parts.
thanks in advance

Free tools are, well free! If I can get it running it will probably be better than the $50.00 HF one that I was going to pick up. I would rather use my portable band saw to cut things with but I need to make some angle cuts and this should be better for that.

The reason why it takes so long to recieve the parts is because its made in China, takes too long to be imported stateside.

Umm, slow to non-existant would be the right way to put it. Basically all I have done so far is put the Ranger cab onto the Bronco frame, no body mounts yet.

Haven't quite figured out the procedure for posting a message on the board -- may have duplicate messages. If so, I apologize!!

Hey Dangling_Dave,
Motor on my Ryobi C356 just burned out -- don't intend to repair it. If you still need a handle, would send you the one from my saw for the cost of shipping it to you. Haven't verified the PNs, but they must be the same since it is the same model as your saw.
